A fire at a power substation sounds promising.... (My dad worked for PG&E before I was born)

OK .. only traffice problems I could find Thanks Mo. It's obviously something very local. I just tend to fret.... or to frets.

No, I saw you post about it this morning but I missed it. I was up so late last night that I slept late today and by the time I came downstairs they were already off. What did they do, a funny commentary over a legitimate video of the wedding. Was it a pretty wedding ? What did she wear ?

I'm glad Leno didn't pan it. I heard Letterman's monoloque and he didn't care for it.

Like I said earlier (I love to quote myself - I'm so clever) The next time you sit down on a park bench, Ruth Buzzi is going to clobber you over the head with her purse

Hi! *waving* Just finally slowing down. So much to do - had a busy weekend. While at a "fight party" on Saturday (about 20 people for the Lewis-Tyson fight) I recruited a couple of the ladies to learn to shoot - we'll go to the rifle and pistol range in a couple of weeks and have a "ladies day". The man who taught me to shoot will help out - he'll bring his .22, I've got one also, so we'll do a little training. The husband of one of the women also has a .22 pistol so I think we're set. Hmmmm. Would LisaAnne like to join us? Nully? I know Nully's not a lady, but we'll make an exception for him. :)

I'm just fine, thank you. We had a lovely day here in NoCal, got into the 90's, and I loved it! It's a dry heat, you know.

Hey, y'all, this week will mark one year since we made our Exodus from the Big Red Warnings.

She looked beautiful, of course... had a nice tan with strap lines on her shoulders and a shoulderless gown, though. The guys were making fun of her new Brady Bunch family (six kids between them) and were amazed at how terrific ED's mom looked (I didn't see her in the videos) but you could tell they all had a great time. Brian even missed attending the Tyson fight so he could be at ED's wedding.

I read the ya-ya review in People today and they didn't like it a lot either

Forest fires do tend to generate dry heat
To: ValerieUSA
The forest fires are south of here right now. However, we are surrounded by regional parks, mostly grass, oaks and brush, and it is all very very dry. We don't have many thunderstorms here, but there is always the stray idiot or two with a match...

Wow, you're right. It has been a year since the exodus, and the advent of what I called "The Red Tide of Death." I was unceremoniously banned, and I wasn't even chatting or addressing other posters by name. I think I was banned for posting a song about California's rolling blackouts, and some of the staff in California took exception to it. No sense of humor....

Lauren Green took her Mom to the wedding. ED's brother ushered Brian upstairs to the balcony. He was an effective usher. *L* ED's new husband, Mr. Hill, looked tall and lost and quite a bit older than she is -- but then she looks really young. She must be older than she looks.

Night sl. Funny but I prefer the President's real words.... LOL Taken from a review on Frank Bruni's book
Bruni also says George W. "had little use for" former Vice President Al Gore and privately told friends that he saw Gore as "equal parts pompous, blowhard and preening chameleon, a spineless panderer ready to be anything for anyone."
Furthermore, the younger Bush complained that "the man dyes his hair" and asked rhetorically, "What does that tell you about him? He doesn't know who he is."
