"The Beatles - Revolver or SGT. Peppers" This is a Coin toss for me Also... For Lyrics Both are definite Tens with Revolver having a slight lead, Melodys I will have to go with Revolver (Even though Pepper has some great ones) but Pepper is one of the most Spectacular Technical Recordings ever! (Especially when one considers what kind of equipment they used at the time!) "Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon OR Meddle"
No Contest here... Dark Side of the Moon wins hands Down.
Now here is a couple of My Favs:
Queensryche- Operation Mindcrime
Rush- Moving Pictures

Is the American release the one with all the George Martin instrumental versions of Beatle songs?
To: Mad Dawgg
I think Meddle is more diverse. Don't get me wrong I love Dark Side.
To: Sabertooth
You forgot Foghat's Fool For The City...
To: BigBadWolf
what's on 'johnny the fox'?
To: Big Guy and Rusty 99
Is the American release the one with all the George Martin instrumental versions of Beatle songs? I think so, but now that you ask, I'm not sure. The one I'm referring to is the one where the B-side has songs from earlier albums (maybe EPs) that had not yet been released here in the USA.
To: DallasMike
that's the UK version with the second side having EP tracks (such as things we said today on it.) It is available here as I have a copy of it. Unless we are some how talking about two different things.
To: Big Guy and Rusty 99
You're correct -- it is the UK version!

Emerson, Lake, and Palmer -- Emerson, Lake, and Palmer
Emerson, Lake, and Palmer -- Trilogy
Some of the others mentioned I've heard and agree with, too, like Dark Side of the Moon and Sgt. Pepper/Revolver.
