I've heard this before. I love Pink Floyd.
Best concert I ever saw. It was back in '94 the Division Bell tour at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.
One hellva show.

I could tell you about the movie that line syncs up to, but this is a family-oriented forum. It's that James Bond film, isn't it? "Octo" something or other......

Best concert I ever saw. It was back in '94 the Division Bell tour at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison. Seeing Pink Floyd without Roger Waters would be disappointing for me, but if they came to my neck of the woods, I'd probably still go. I heard they put on one heck of a light show.

Yeah, your right, what I stated wasn't exactly correct. Waters does include instances from his own life in The Wall. But Syd is the one who shaved off his eyebrows and became a recluse b/c he couldn't stand stardom. :-) I guess you could say that he took parts from his life and Syd's life and embodied them in an imaginary character who go the worst of both lives.

How about syncing "Another One Bites the Dust" to videos of U.S. bombing raids in Afghanistan? Or clips of Tom Daschle synced to "You're So Vain" or "Short People" (by Randy Newman). Or "That Don't Impress Me Much" to clips of various world leaders (such as the Ayatollah) making toothless threats?
It opens up a whole new avenue of humorous possibilities, just as the Tourist Guy did.

Thanks for that link, I think I'm going to buy one of those tapes. Be a collector's item.

Try The Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus by Spirit with just about any movie and one gets the same experience. Mix the movie, the album, and some buzz and it gets even better........

"Leavin' on a Jet Plane" (clips of Babs, Alec, Julia Roberts, etc.)
"Lies! Lies! Can't believe a word they say..." (Al Gore, Bill Clinton, the list is endless)
"I Fought the Law and the Law Won..." (Skakel, Gore's chad-counting, etc.)
"Let 'em In" (Paul McCartney)" (Mexican border patrol, clips of 9/11 attackers, INS, Microsoft Outlook screenshots)
"Stayin' Alive..." (bin Laden, Saddam, Mullah Omar, Kim Jong Il (sp?))
"The Boys are Back in Town..." (Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld)
"Battle Hymn of the Republic" (edited version of Bush's famous speech to Congress last year...this one would probably give me chills).
