Boys State is a great experience, and I'm sure participation in it looks good on college applications.

Prime rib at Outback melts in your mouth. Obviously so far out back that it fell off the continent. That certainly sounds better than what the Australians eat.

*L* It's a fun theme for a restaurant, but fortunately authenticity has been sacrificed for the sake of good eating. Even the veggies there are always perfect, too.

I'll go with Valerie on the OutBack experience - the one nearest us varies between very, very good and excellent. And the place is jammed with consumers.

And yet, there are still people who are Hard Core Clinton supporters.
Go figure...

A bizarre death of 3 Fort Lewis soldiers - two of them Green Berets.
3 GIs die on fishing trip After launch from Westport, outing ends with puzzling twist Coast Guard helicopters found the bodies of three Fort Lewis soldiers in the waters of Willapa Bay yesterday, a day after the men went on a weekend fishing trip.
....A resident found the men's boat washed up about 9 p.m. at Bay Center on a small peninsula in the center of Willapa Bay. The boat was right side up, Lanier said. Its interior was dry. Its cooler still contained lunches and drinks.

The wait at the Outback on Blossom Hill Rd. in San Jose is usualy about 45 minutes or so, I've never seen it longer than 2 hours...

The Outback is headquatered in the US, it actually has no connection to Australia.
To: ValerieUSA
That's a strange enough story about the soldiers! Thank you.

Thanks Valerie and loddy, Yes, it will look good on his college applications. Participants have to be in the top one third of their junior class to be eligible. They are first nominated by their teachers then all the candidates go through a final selection process. It was a very good experience and my sister said he enjoyed it very much. :)

"For Outback Steakhouses, I have no hope" We even have those in Arkansas. You don't have "Outback" steak places there?
To: lodwick
I was going to post it at the Canteen, but didn't want to spoil the mood. Maybe I'll post it on its own thread. I wonder how the one soldier's name is pronounced: Eville.

This is really funny:
NY Post
GEORGIA'S JUNK
IS OUR 'NEW'
VOTING MACHINE
As the country attempts to update its balloting procedures, New York shows the nation that our idea of modernization is to buy other states' old voting machines before they're thrown out for scrap.
The latest deal calls for New York City to buy nearly 300 voting machines - the famed Shoup 3.2, which traces its lineage back to a Thomas Edison patent - from six rural counties in Georgia.

It's good child tormenting time.

Mornin' Nully. Yeah, it makes no sense at all to me. I just don't get how braindead people have to be to think that the Klintons SHOULD be supported. But then, like I have said for so long, I have come to the conclusion that their folowers are either very stupid or very evil.
To: ValerieUSA
Good thinking. I guess like it reads - e ville. bbl Have fun.
