I too was born in Sac....a looong time ago. Will be there in late June visiting my dear Dad. They have a great railroad museum at the old depot.

Lisa must have gone into more details with you in her Charlie Manson story than the rest of us are privy to.... Yes.

You think the food is different in the Coffee Shop?? The last time I was there, they still had the same stuff on the menu that they had when I arrived in '88 and it seemed about the same to me...the same crowd hanging out in the morning too.

"and Lisa told about her old boyfriend Charlie Manson" Well, at least now we understand her attraction to you.
To: ValerieUSA
Oh hush up!! Yes, it's true - my weekend was truely mediocre. *LOL* At least it wasn't macabre.Whatareyoutryingtosay Val???

I recall Lisa also said something about you needing to lighten up on California - your future home state.... what did she mean? *L* Will you dock your boat there sometime to stock up on Geritol and aspirin?

Someone notorious who hasn't wandered through your living room in their underwear at 3:00AM. I'm just happy when they don't wander through the house in MY underwear...
To: Cuttnhorse
(Except she has this maddening habit of reading instructions!!)I'm proud of her! *L*

*sigh* Oh wait! I gave Joy one of my tee shirts when she was 8 1/2 months preggers. I told her she could have it, it was too big for me...

If you'd like a gross, disgusting, and pointless weekend, I'll send you my address. Too little, too late, Argh...

California is far stranger than fiction. Yup! Who needs cable???

I recall Lisa also said something about you needing to lighten up on California - your future home state.... what did she mean? That was her way of running a cardiac stress test.

look how his face is lighted with delight. I guess boys of any age. My brother and I found his model train all put away"...
Yeah, I think most guys have a fascination with them.....when my girls and I found out my husband had never had a train set as a boy, we bought him a large set/collection for Christmas.....he was 44 years old!
His reaction was one of sheer magical wonder! Down on the floor he went, opening all these different size boxes like a little kid would ripping the paper off, and trying to figure out where it would go in the grand scheme of things!!!
That was 3 months before we moved to the ranch, so he didn't get to set it up in any way that he could leave it up.
The first Christmas at the ranch, we had gone back up in the snow-covered mountains and found just the perfect Christmas tree. After the girls got home from school, we decorated the tree.....and then the real fun began.....out came Dad's train set...it wove in and out and around the Christmas tree, looped over even far enough to run through the legs of an end-table.....it was so neat.
That became a part of our Christmas village decorations.....and then, about 4 years later when we had the cats!!! They just couldn't figure out that 'thing'! It spits 'smoke' at em, it 'yowls' at em, and damn it, it chases them!!! Toooooo funny for words.
Since his death, the train set has passed to his youngest daughter's sons.

So... You actually ARE a step up, then?...
To: Cuttnhorse
"Will be there in late June visiting my dear Dad" Wow Horsie, you could come to our FReeper party too! You'd only be a couple of hours away or less.

I dunno -- what do you think I'm trying to say?
I stayed home this weekend ... no oddballs and freaks live in my garage, so it's pretty non-exciting. I didn't even rent a movie.
