Next to my daughter, Deni, Tess was my bestest friend...she shared over a fifth of my life. Most of us have lost animal family members. We know how much you hurt. Hang on, and find yourself another friend to keep you company, if not to replace your loss.

Loddy, Thanks for the wonderful piece by the retired marine. I've saved it and will send it along to all my friends. :)
Thanks for the tip about the cayenne pepper. I think I'll give that a try.

The loss of such a loyal companion leaves a big empty place. I'm so sorry for you.

Nighty night Prentice -- I hope you get to see the big game.

Who ? Valerie ? Naaaah !
To: Mo1
Did Granny get a boob job, too? *L* Did she buy them for all of her granddaughters? My Grandma crocheted afghans for me.

Sounds like Tess lived to a ripe old age. Maybe it was just her time. I know I am watching Nermal start to age before my eyes when for nearly 14 years there was very little evidence of it. You're just never really prepared. Well, God bless you and be close to you through it. I know it hurts.
To: Rowdee
Rowdee, we are all sorry to hear of your loss. Most of us have lost beloved companions who were with us through difficult times and we understand the pain you must be feeling.

I'm lucky I don't topple over forward now, but if I did I wouldn't smash my nose. *LOL*
To: ValerieUSA
"I'm lucky I don't topple over forward now" I can relate to that. Never once considered having them reduced though. I think they're just fine the way they are.
To: ValerieUSA
My Grandma crocheted afghans for me. You seem to have inherited a pair anyway.

A friend of my sister's had one, too. Her friends' husband wanted her to have it done but couldn't bear to go with her for the surgery. Too squeamish. So my sister went with her. She said afterwards that you'd have to want cleavage more than anything on earth to go through that mess.

FOFLOL. I've always suspected that is why Dolly Parton wears those large wigs and hair pieces.... for balance. LOL
