it is her first visit to vet since we've had her
my hunch is Lulu will have a ball
(Bill says vet will say she has to go on diet
but I told Bill bassets are made that way
and Lulu is svelte for basset)

it will be nice that tomorrow morning everyone can have their normal routine
after hubby wakes up, Dizzy climbs on bed, and both of you pet him

Was it the car ride LuLu most missed in her fit of pique? I was thinking that Al and all the shiskas was just another night for Grannie and her innkeeper hubby at the Grog and Grope.Biz must be slow if they can afford to spend time with the hired help ;-)Maybe if they re-locate to Australia and look after the 7th Fleet, Al wouldn't get stuck in a booth with the goils ;-)

they got in his red pick-up truck and they're off to doctor
Lulu is so thrilled and excited

Taking a cig and coke break(Coke, the soda pop, that is)...got here just in time to see that the famous Lulu is making her way to the vets in Bills red truck...Oh, I bet she thinks she is a special girl, getting to be with Bill all alone in the truck...she probably just thinks she is going for a drive...She will be surprised at the vet office...maybe she will meet a nice young gentleman doggie, and she will flirt...

Of course, she will be surprised, when she receives a shot(Ouch)....

Palo, you be sure to praise her, and give her those Kraft Singles, to comfort her, from her getting that shot...

I bet the vet falls in love with her, she is quite alluring, I am sure...

Well, so much for fun, back to the grindstone...

Hey, what do you want me to do? We were playing Blind Man's Bluff.. It was always my turn.. I never saw a thing. Let's see.. there was Westy, Loddy, Habs, and AC.. I thought I felt a gun, so naturaly assumed it was the Sherrif.. OMG.. maybe it wasn't a gun..? Ok, let's hear some confessions here.. You all can't take the fifth forever..

Cinderella Lulu...she should come in wearing a crown, carrying a scepter, and wearing one of those fancy capes...

I am waiting to see what Lulu weighs...I bet it wont be near to what Miss Helga weighed...Keep in mind, Helga was one of the bigger boned bassets, but man, she was quite porky....I will wait to see what Lulu weighed, and then perhaps I will reveal Helgas weight(shudder)...

But as I said before, the vet ran many tests on Helga, and could find nothing wrong with her, to account for her being so very porky, and I know I did not overfeed her, as she ate only the same amt. as my other two dogs, who were not porky(poor Helga even ate diet doggie food for a while, but that did not help either)....Finally the vet, just left her alone...and she did live to be 13, which is actually old for a basset, and she was never, ever sick....so that extra weight on her, did not seem to bother her...

As you can see, I am still freeping(bad girl)....My routine, has been work a little, freep a little...strike a happy medium.

Oh, the posty man is here, wonder if he has a dolly box for me, or will he pass me by

Nope, he passed me by...maybe a box will come tomorrow...anyway, back to work...see you on my next break...Wait, the posty man is here, he must have gotten mixed up...he is carrying 3 boxes....gotta go..there are dollies to be unpacked, but have to let them go till after my work is done...
