I was wondering what was going on with the Falcons...earlier today, I was sure I had seen one of the chicks outside of the box, on the ledge...but being as the pic was dark, I thought I was seeing things wrong...

But I guess I was right, as you are seeing the same thing...

Checked on the eagle chicks...my gosh, they are big...

I think its always a scarey time, when the chicks decide its time to try their wings...I am always afraid that they will not be successful on their first try, and will come crashing down...

Lets keep our fingers crossed, that after all the hard work the adult birds have done, feeding and caring for their young, that they will be good flyers when the time comes...

How about Eric Ambler's Mask of Dmitrios...if you like that kind of pre-war European intrigue.Check out his other work too, try Amazon for some good reviews too :-)

If you like hard boiled detectives, I heartily recommend the Berlin Noir trilogy by Philip Kerr.It's set in 1936 Berlin from the vantage point of a German cop and its really good, and goes into lots of Nazi intrigue and finishes later in post war Vienna.Its gritty too, with lots of slang, but its a real treat.
