yes, my five year old loves the smithsonian, and can even pronounce it... but he loved riding the subways the best... my favorite thing about dc, is the accessibility, i hope that doesn't change, but the rag heads will probably ruin that too. i wish bush would open up penn ave again

he is near the biggest in maryland near crofton and has probably played there, i am in salisbury 888-50-splat... about 1 hr 40 min away... service men always get a discount... we like to think rat-a-tat splat is worth the drive.

baltimore's zoo was pretty decent, and i went to the national zoo with my boy's school and was underwhelmed...
salisbury has a cute little zoo that is free to the public and we enjoy that...

"Did you ever check out the zoo?" The zoo in DC was the first one I ever saw and one of the few things I can ever remember doing with BOTH of my parents. I was just a little thing but there are a few things I still remember like it was yesterday.
