I did, I also put up the Flag. We were both laid off a few months later.
It was worth it...
To: Darlin'
Umm, actually, I'm not Christian...

Maybe both of us are thick today. I've just made a new pot of strong coffee and will try to take another look at what you are saying.

My mistake. I assumed facts not yet in evidence. I did recall that you are a former scientologist but I admit I leaped to the conclusion that you were probably a christian. My bad.

Not quite. I think that was why HE was laid off. I was laid off only because he was. It protected the company from a religious discrimination law suit to do us both. Also he had 8 years seniority, and it would look "odd" to keep the much less senior person. I think they may have been some concern that if I didn't get axed, and he did, there would be some workplace violence. (He trained in Thai kickboxing in Thailand).
Of course, I'll never REALLY know ;^)

No offence taken. People have been saying I'm "a good Christian" since at least High School. I take it as a complement. I do strive for living my live in as ethical a manner as I can, and try to apply Christian values. I just seem lack the ability to have the faith required to be a true believer.

"I just seem lack the ability to have the faith required to be a true believer." It doesn't take so much.

At least as much as a mustard seed...

Sweet I see and understand your point .. it is very frustrating and scary .. but at the same time we have to be very careful other wise we will be giving up the very freedoms that we are fighting for
President often repeats this will not be an easy war to win but we will win it

It would sink in. Arabs know who these freaks are, just as Italians know who the mob guys are. I expect they're afraid of them, afraid of what these murderers will do to them and their families. BINGO!!!

It was worth it... If you were fired because of a flag .. then I suggest you file a lawsuit

"Personal experience?" Don't poke the yankee, Nully. Hehehehe...
To: Mo1
What you know and what you can prove aren't always the same.
More to the point, they are in dire financial straights, what would I gain? Turnip juice?
To: null and void
No .. No "personal experience" but that doesn't make it untrue
Up here when there is a shoot out in a bad neighborhood .. everyone knows who did but will be the last to speak up because they fear their families will became a target
Don't know if you have ever heard of the Traits around my area .. They are in the Roofers Union .. also known for paying off Judges and having people show up dead .. many folks are scared to death of this whole Family ..
Remember those news clips of Pals dragging those pals who were accused of helping Israel... they dragged them threw the streets and then hung them up for all to see
There were many reasons why they did this .. Yes one is because they are animals .. but another reason was to warn people to shut up or you are next ..

Exactly, and they also refuse to allow American officials into any of their compounds mosques or communities to see what is going on. Again I see your point .. but if we let the government to start going through these Mosques without hard evidence they are hiding something .. then what is to stop the governement from going through other churches in the future ..
Which is why we need to be careful of the rights we give up .. it may sound like a great idea now .. but what will happen if we get another Clinton in the White House again .. they will go after all the churches
These animals picked America for a reason to hide behind..
