*L* Just bought more clothes... How decadent! I loved clothes when I was in school... all of my babysitting money went for new outfits - and I was constantly babysitting until I got a job at the theaters. But even in my school days living with my parents I did the laundry and ironed my dad's work shirts. My Mom hated ironing, and I was usually the first one up in the morning, so Dad just told me he needed a shirt until I finally decided to just do five of them every Sunday so I could spend all my weekday morning time primping.

Dutch elections in doubt after slaying

I read a thread a few minutes ago about this, posted right after it happened, and some un-remembered FReeper said that if their elections were postponed for some reason, that it was likely that he was assassinated by some Leftists conspiring, and who are terrified of losing control. 24 hours later, they are talking about postponing the elections. Also within hours of his death, he went from being known as a 'right-winger,' to 'an extreme right-winger.' By next week he will be being demonized as being another Genghis Khan.

Leftists, once they have the reins of power, will NOT willingly turn loose of them again.

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see some civil wars or EXTREME civil unrest sweeping through Europe. Also, if the Left is thrown from power here, come November, then the verbal attacks by the Demonrats that we have seen thus far, will seem like compliments by comparison.

The ONLY thing that Leftists fear (besides being revealed as the scumbag Leftists that they are) is losing power. It has as big a grip on them as heroin has on junkies. It won't be pretty.

It's strange to see an openly gay candidate described as extreme right wing.

Yes, quite strange. If Andrew Sullivan gets killed like this, he would be called an 'extremist Right-Winger' too.

As long as they have the World's media locked up, we are fighting an uphill battle, to put it VERY mildly.
