(You know you are getting older when everything either dries up or leaks.)

I haven't read the other replies, but my answer would be probably not. Honestly, it is so distracting to see the 'flash' of the piercing when someone is talking. Plus, they always seem to be messing with them. Yuck!

Well, if I would have read the replies, I would have seen that this event has already happened and hopefully worked out for the best. Sometimes parenting can be quite the challenge!!
Curious if she still has and likes her piercing.

Well, I might sound harsh, but I would advise against hiring if I was in the position to hire. Failing that, I would make it a rule not to wear it at work. I'll be honest, it's gross, can bring health problems and yes, I'll be blunt, it makes the girl (or guy) look like a "ho." That's a huge turn off with me, having enough metal in the head to pick up Radio Free Europe or Radio Habana Cuba. I know if I was a client or customer, I would home in on it like a radar beam. I believe that Bill O'Reilly is correct, people who pierce themselves will be poor all their lives, I mean who would hire them?
I know at the drugstore where I work at, there is one kid and his girlfriend with so many piercings that I almost fainted at the sight of them and, ah, well, their personal hygiene could knock over an M1 tank.
I think though, piercings can be a call for help too, maybe they're is something wrong with their family or school life, I don't know, some say, it is like turning away from God too. I see the body as a temple so my religious views come into play too.
So I would have to vote "no" although the door is open if she takes it out during work.
