Mornin', Palo. How are you this cool Arizona day? And olla, senor.
As I read You Know You're in Arizona if..., I related even tho we're not quite as extreme as you. Driving with oven mitts - what a super idea - ROFL. I've burned my fingers worse by the ignition key area, but the steering wheel is a scorcher if you forget the windshield shade! And I DO make it a point to park under a tree in any parking lot. But I still love the desert.
Funny stuff, AC. The World - now there's the ultimate pirate ship just for storing the plunder.

Was Grannie on Laugh-In at all, dancing in the background as the party was going on?What a fashion queen she was then, in white leather boots, tie-dye dress and gold necklace. That's what got her into the Playboy Mansion back then, and the rest is history now ;-)
To: okimhere
hi oki, I've never seen anyone drive with oven mitts
they do use steering wheel covers here
yes everyone tries to park under the shade
we have so few trees tho, there isn't much shade
there is big difference here between shade and sunshine, it is 10 degrees cooler in shade
90% of the cars in Tucson are white
Love, Palo

You are a rogue, Senor. The jokes today are very amusing :-)
To: habs4ever
she had the clothes
she had the moves
we're graced to have go go gal on our thread
To: palo verde
So, do you get into the car in summertime wearing shorts or not?And do you run the AC so you have a fire??LOL
To: palo verde
But she let it go and now she dances nude on her front lawn, casting spells. So sad ;-)

Does someone need to be cooled off? This should help Habs and AC with the steam that comes out of their ears.(I thought I'd put that nicely.)
Now Palo and I really need to be cooled off.. In the nineties here all week..
To: palo verde;Okimhere

Have we cooled off any yet? I feel so bad I missed this stuff this winter. Next year I'll have to stay home.. Riiiiight!!!
To: grannie9
God, it looks like a desolate orphanage, where all sorts of nasty, sordid things take place.Maybe it has inspired Stephen King, you never know ;-)
To: habs4ever

Habs, you love this stuff, right? I'll be you wouldn't even come visit me next year in Fl.. He loves the winter.. (all right no mumbling in the background, because I can hear you.) Nasty boy..
To: habs4ever
LOL.. I loooove Steven King.. I think he used it for the Shining...

I wear shorts cause the seats are velvet in our 2nd-hand Crysler Fifth Avenue
Crysler New Yorkers are glut on the market here
everyone who retires in tucson buys themself a brand new Caddy or brand new Crysler New Yorker
every few years they trade in old one and buy new one
result is used white Caddies and Crysler New Yorkers go for a song
cause 29 year old tucsonans refuse to buy them
they want cool car
(not what retirees drive)
we bought new red pickup truck when we first moved here
when we went to get a sedan, I wanted the white Crysler New Yorker in mint condition which had just been traded in
Bill refused cause he said it was not cool
(the car he wanted was not in such good condition and cost more)
when we went on test drive in Crysler 5th Avenue, I felt I was in a limo (our pick-up is not so comfortable)
suddenly in middle of test drive, Bill said ''this is the car Frankie Sinatra would drive
and gangsters too''
he wanted a gangster car, so we bought it
Love, Palo

o chickie, what beautiful photos
I love them
you have talent for making your photos fill with feeling
there is nothing prettier than snow
I still love it
it's just that I'm used to wearing sundress and goin' barefoot outside
I don't want to take all that time putting on all those clothes to go out
and then having to take them off when I'm home
Love, Palo
To: grannie9
wow, your third snow pic is knock out
To: palo verde
Does Bill know how lucky he is to have you?

I didn't take these pics Palo.. They were taken and sent to me by my neighbor. The husband was plowing our yard. I just happened to find them tucked away on my puter..
To: habs4ever
But she let it go and now she dances nude on her front lawn, casting spells. So sad
I dunno
I don't think she'd be so happy back in a discoteque
doing her go go dances in her go go outfit now
she may prefer dancin' in moonlight on her front lawn
To: palo verde
Omg.. the second baby has hatched... She is looking at it now.. Yahoo...
To: grannie9
they are nice pics chickie
whoever took them has a feel and love for the place
they have quiet simplicity
