I am glad to be back
I only had $10 bill so at first I had to sit there watching everyone else eat their snacks from the machine
but they dismissed us for lunch
so I got a chicago hot dog and cream soda from hotdog man
when I came back I got all the snacks I had watched everyone else eat

they let us go out to the corner for cigarette whenever we wanted
I set off the metal detector machine 5 times
(each time I returned)
but one time the machine did not go off
the guards were non plussed and so was I
''how'd you do that'' they said
''I don't know'' I said
so next time they said ''let's see if you can do it again''
I crossed my fingers and tried
but the alarms went off

the DA was cute chinese girl
she said she was gonna bring 4 cops to testify (one a sergeant)
that she had 4 counts against him
but all the counts seem to be he had 3.2 level in his blood

the judge was fair, honest, honorable, astute
I was impressed
his bailiff had pretty Irish accent
(I guess the only thing which was unfair was the plan to crucify the young man)

Miss Palo...you are a riot...I am laughing my head off, at your exciting day, wearing tight clothes, looking like a street walker, setting off alarms, being suspected of harboring a weapon in your tight clothing, eating dogs and cream soda, spending your money at the vending machine...it was quite the experience for you...
Now, you have done your civic duty, and have a whole year in which to breathe, before they may or may not call you again...Juror Palo...job well done...

It's a natural that you'd see streetwalkers in a court house, sweetie!! They have appointments to keep with the Law!That's hilarious about setting off all the alarms.What a day you had and the torture to sit by the snack machine.Next time, pack some cheese ;-)
BTW, The Habs won again!! a come from behind win to beat Boston 5-3 and Saku got the winning goal.Poor grannie!!LOL

When Bill went to juryduty last year
he was put on two cases
the first the man was accused of murdering his wife
they said he murdered her, put her body in suitcase, and buried it in desert
Bill was excused cause he doesn't believe in death penalty
The second case the guy's boss brought criminal charges
cause he used the company car to pick his wife up at airport
Bill was excused cause he said ''why doesn't the boss fire the guy then, why bring charges''
the judge said ''don't you know what joyriding is''
