But there's nothing quite like the rush of whitewater!

If you really want a rush, do it in the winter. Less crowded then too.

No thanks. In Colorado the rivers are cold year round. In fact, a lot of people use a wet suit even in the summer. I've done it both ways. I'm not crazy about a wet suit, but I am not into being cold!

Yes, I know, I went to sumer camp there for a couple of years. So do the rivers of the Texas Hill Country where everyone goes tubing.

If you get down to central Texas do try the Schlitterbahn Water Park. It is located along the Comal river and uses the fresh cold river water without chlorine. You can play all day without your eyes turning red.

Seattle police arrest a protester at Broadway Street Saturday. The protesters blocked the road, police moved in and arrested several people. AP

Hundreds of activists took to Seattle's streets Saturday in a series of protest rallies, marches and "teach-ins" to oppose a variety of political institutions and policies -- from the World Trade Organization to the war on terrorism.
Seattle police made about 10 arrests early in the evening -- and 19 the entire day -- when protesters blocked intersections on Seattle's Capitol Hill and then clashed with officers who fired pepper spray and used their bikes to push demonstrators to the sidewalk.
A police spokesman said arrests were all for misdemeanors. Offenses included pedestrian interference, property damage and obstructing.

Seattle P-I article - Police make arrests as hundreds march on downtown streets
I wouldn't be a citizen or a police officer in the liberal hellhole called Seattle for anything. The place is going to explode soon. It's such a shame.

His only hope for defense is to somehow pin the gun on Bonnie - that she had access to it and gave it to a hitman she hired to take out Robert - but that the hitman turned on her instead, hoping to extort money from Blake for saving his life.

I did 40 years of Stupid Macho Tricks, that is why I am having shoulder surgery. I don't plan to have any more, or to sweat.

Were you injured achieving the "Freefall Release," like Alex Baldweenie's character in The Luvahs skit, last night???

BATTLE GROUND, Wash. -- Former figure skater Tonya Harding was cited for drunken driving early today after she crashed her pickup into a ditch, police said. Neither Harding nor her passenger was hurt in the accident, in Battle Ground, just northwest of Portland, Ore.

FOFL, No, there are much more entertaining ways to induce a scream.

Authorities suspect violent relationship led to 12-year-old's death
Apparently a 12 yr old girl had an abusive 17 yr old boyfriend who murdered her. This isn't a case of a violent "relationship" -- I see it is as a case of a criminally negiglent mother.
