OMG. I can't imagine. LOL. Well, if it makes you feel any better mine looks like I'm trying to cultivate all varieties of weeds. LOL. I can't seem to get the soil built up enough to grow grass but I'm doing great weeds. LOL My trees are really suffering from the effects of a 3 year drought.

LOL. My trees are doing well. The ones I have left, anyway. :) Everything else looks awful. Hideous. Nothing works with anything else. They just can't get along. Things dying, for no reason, except slugs, etc. :)Some roses I had that I swear were once pink, are now fire engine red. Go figure. I had a zen garden table scape, that stoopid mist machine rained it out. Groan.

FOFLOL. Fortunately, it's still early enough that we can make adjustments and probably get back on track.
I have a couple of deadlines I'm trying to beat and one is the annual ivasion of stinging catepillars. I don't do any yard work while those things are out there. Unfortunately, two of my trees have to be removed and I sure hope that's all.

Ooooh. They are hideous, perfectly awful things and they hurt, their stingers become imbedded in your skin. It can make you very sick. They just cover our oak trees, in particular the big beautiful Live Oaks. I think they're called Buck Moth Catepillars.

No, Thank God, I haven't, had a few near misses, but I've seen lots of people who have been. They're especially hard on children. They sometimes fall right out of the trees on you. You have to use tweezers or adhesive tape to get the singers out and they leave a long red welt for days.
Check this out

FOFLOL. If last weekend in Florida was any indication of where they are then I'd say they're in worse shape than I first thought.

Cherries Garcia. Positively decadent.

Sweets, ANY food named after a Grateful Dead band member, HAS to be extra good.

:-)

Aren't they vile looking ? Actually, that one is kinda wimpy looking, they're about 2" long and covered in black stingers or spines. Fortunately, they're only here for about 2-3 weeks then gone til next year.
