perhaps the big guy is being called home...

No I don't think it is his time yet .. he still has things to take care of ..

It's a long story .. but many believe this Pope is a saint

I love to visit Phoenix. For those of us who live in high humidity areas, one of the nicest things about being out there is how little time or effort it takes to have great looking hair. LOL. One brush through and you're ready to go. LOl

That heat down there can be atrocious! One time, I made a sweet potato into a vine plant.....and it was doing beautifully. I took a week-end trip to California to see my kids and family and when I got home and opened the door....I thought I would die.....rotten eggs smell better than that!

Seems as though the air conditioning had gone out Saturday morning and they couldn't get a repair man until 1st thing Monday morning......well--the damage was already done!!

Yes, I kept some black and some of the golden. I placed a rustic bench (old board looking thing, rests on four HUGE rocks) and a meditation stone in the bamboo garden. :)I haven't been out there lately. I'll have to check on it. I've been busy playing with that mist system and fooling with bulbs. :)

RINGY .. Slugs Again!!

Ok there is Slug killer stuff .. Ortho makes it .. plus other companies

However, it's like little pellets .. springle it around the ground .. when the slugs slug over these pellets they dry up .. this way you will not have to clean up any slugs

when man goes against nature only bad things can come from it.

Dry heat......

Deni said if she hadn't decided on Phoenix, she would have opted to move to New Orleans...she loved it down there--cepting for the humidity, but she said she'd learn to live with that.

I loved Phoenix, too...but that was back in the late 60s! There was only something like 750,000 people.....now there are millions upon millions!!!

the lids of beer should be ringed with salt, as in a slug margarita, the slugs love the beer so much, they think they can jump the salt, but alas....

Yes, I have the Ortho mess all over them. Doesn't work, well. Pupsters' beer cure works well. He saved them for me last year. It had just left my mind. Darlin reminded me. Works much better than slug bait. :)

Yea .. but aren't there dead slugs left over in the lid ..

I'd rather they just go off and die without having to see them
