ROFLOL. My bamboo FARM? It's doing well, they say. :)I ordered some bulbs the other day. We are still planting. :)Not as big of a mistake as the bamboo, though. At least they aren't as BIG. LOL. I've got to quit shopping online. I need to learn how to make the same mistake buying fur coats and such. LOL.

Thank you, Darlin'....I definitely will watch out for the sun...Deni said its been hotter than normal down there...I lived in Phoenix for a couple of years, so I know about frying eggs on hoods of cars and on sidewalks. :)

those glass balls aren't the only thing that attracts fairies... i was working in my garden one afternoon, bending down pulling weeds, when this guy in a volvo stopped by and asked if i was wearing bugle boys... he had california plates so i shooed him away.

so I know about frying eggs on hoods of cars Would you believe my sister actually tried that .. and then was upset to see it mess up the paint on the car .. lol

I wonder if that would work for slugs. They are destroying my petunias, again this year. Darlin' reminded me of Catpuppy's cure. Sooooooo, I've got to go get some beer tomorrow. :)
To: Letitring
Was it all transported out to the farm; didn't you keep some at your home for a cozy garden setting?
See....that shopping thingy isn't all that it is trumped up to be!!! LOL.

FOFL. They're fairly common in England. I've never felt any great need to have one. LOL

That was just his way of telling you he thought you had a cute butt! BTW, were there any pink plastic flamingos involved?
To: Darlin'
LOL, girl.....I'll leave all that 'shopping sin' to you and Ringy!!! My daughter, Deni, is so excited that she extracted a promise from me that we'd do at least 1 day shopping!!! I could bite my tongue out for that! Tain't fair...she caught me at a weak moment!

I once had a boyfriend who roaster weiners on his car motor. :) Um-huh. Yes, he did. Wrapped them in tin foil. Offered one of them to me. I declined. :)
To: sweetliberty
just a pink flamenko, or was it a tutu.... any way, now i'll have nightmares.
To: Letitring
Beer for slugs. Use big jar lids or something similar and fill them with beer. The little suckers will get drunk and drown. It does work.
