The old format was so much easier to use, although if I take the time to figure out the new format, apparently I will appreciate the new features.
Question: by showing the entire article in self-search, isn't that a costly, repetitive waste of space?
To: TLBSHOW
I forgot...I miss the old topics listings. It was more extensive, and easier to find what one was looking for.

I'd like to see an ability to create styles of views, each of which could contain whatever combinations of forums and article classifications one desired, in long, brief, or superbrief format, etc.
www.halfbakery.com does a very nice job of providing such a feature.
To: Angelique
In your upper right hand corner (in self-search) is the ability to show the "Full" message, or "Brief" which only shows the Title, etc.

Style sheets will be in the final version... if you go to the Beta site now, you can see a few of the ones already done.

How do I get those State announcements to stay away??? I have gone to the page I don't know how many times, to get off the list, but it still always comes back. What am I doing wrong?

I don't know why. But there are some real interesting things a foot here. And from what I can see, the more we talk about it the better it keeps getting. Free Republic is the best.

I hate it when I click “browse,” “post,” actually any change of menu and it gives me the blank DONE page. Sometimes it works when reloading and sometimes it double posts.
Didn’t notice a difference before that.

Things are a bit slow. It took that post 6 1/2 years to go through.

TLBSHOW has been gone since before the Iraq War and he’s still getting responses.
