Wow...$60.00 a carton in New York...thats just plain outrageous...Its almost as if they cant get us to quit voluntarily, they are going to make us quit by force, forcing us to reconsider smoking as being a financial hazard...I am really angry about this...
Yet, beer is always on sale...my hubby just had the food ads today, and one of his favorite beers is on sale, so he will stock up...
You know, when I was a little girl, my dad had this cigarette rolling machine....he would buy the cig papers, and tobacco...you put the tobacco at one end of the roller, in a little holder, and the paper went in, and then you pulled the roller, and voila, you had a cig...he used to let me pull the roller...
After my dad died, and I was cleaning out his room, I found two cig rollers, with lots of papers, and tins of tobacco..altho dad now bought his cigs from the store, he still kept his hand in practice, so to speak, by occasionally rolling his own cigs...of those two rollers he had, one is much newer than the other...I am willing to bet that the old one, is the one he had when I was a little girl
It may be time for me to try my hand at this...I hate to smoke unfiltered cigs, but could always just buy a cig holder, and use that for my own rolled cigs...drastic times call for drastic measures...

I sure am glad that Happy was a good boy at the vets...and he has more sliced tasty roast beef for his pills...(He likes being the sick boy, when it means lots of tasty roasty beef)
Yes, indeed, that Helga was quite the drama queen for the vet...but he just got such a kick out of her...he would just look at her and laugh...He was really so good to her...
When she had her tooth surgery, while she was zonked out, he clipped her nails...Now I had not requested that he do that, as we did it at home(Tho it was quite the ordeal, Helga hated to have her nails clipped)..But the vet said, since she was zonked out, and all dopey, and he loved her so, he thought he would give her a free gift of newly clipped toenails, and she would not even know what happened(And he would not charge me the usual fee for nail clipping)...for Helga, he said it was free..

You aren't the only one that found some concepts of Ken Carey's well....confusing.I wonder why writers seek to obscure when presenting new ideas, rather than simplify and elighten.Hmmmmmm....;-)

Cap'n, me thinks that is Chrissy on Tuesday's.She goes around Austin as a blonde on those days ;-)Mind you, she has another one that substitutes Guns for Brains. The ladies ought to know that us "bird watchers" know they really don't need brains at all ;-)
