Palo.. he's just an aggravating piece of leftover French bread... Never mind him.. He lives to insult me,..and he's not the first and won't be the last..
Hab-itual..(pain in the @ss) I do not own a MOO MOO.... ;)
To: grannie9
of course you don't own a moo moo
he lives in a fantasy world and lets his fashion sense run away with him
besides fishermen don't wear moo moos
even since he fell out of that canoe, he's been addled
To: palo verde
Is she cute, and does she wear short shorts??Hmmmmmmm....and the house across the canal is still being built, by strapping young bucks, stripped to the waist, muscles flexing in the hot Florida sunshine, and she decides to go fishing......hmmmmmmmmm;-)with her binoculars, no doubt!!LOL
To: palo verde
When's the date for jury duty? Could it be just a suprise birthday gift??lol
To: habs4ever
she is very cute, she wears short shorts
what makes you think she has the hots for the guys across the canal
they're prolly after her
To: palo verde
Man, that Wolf in Sheeps Clothing sure has a Cow about me owning a Moo Moo... Udderly rediculous... I haven't been close to a farm in a couple years...never mind a farm animal...
To: habs4ever
(Me and a healthy looking speciman were fishing together..) Only he caught a fish, and I didn't. So he told me he'd help me bait my hook. He says there's a little trick to it to get really big ones.... Snook, of course..
To: habs4ever
I didn't take it out of mailbox and open it up
I don't know the date they want me
I'll face the mailbox tomorrow
I'm gonna start hanging up my clothes today
I gave myself 3 days before rugman comes
I'm curious what is under the big pile of clothes :)
To: palo verde
So am I! I bet it's a carton of ciggy's, a deluxe party pack of Kraft Singles, or your notification that you won the Powerball lottery ;-)It should be an adventure, either way.
To: grannie9
I didn't know you had a fishing partner
this is called a development
To: palo verde
Oh, he's much too young to be a devopment in any real sense of the word.. I will just get some tips from him... Fishing tips, dontchano.....
To: palo verde
It's all in what kind of bait you use, how much line to give them... and how fast to reel them in...
To: habs4ever
well it will be nice to find all the pretty new clothes I bought and never wore
underneath that of course is all the writing I did when I moved to Tucson
and before I got on internet
in Tucson, I switched from writing humorous short stories
and instead started writing accounts of my spiritual experiences
I sent them to my friends from womens liberation back in NYC
and they decided I lost my mind in Tucson
maybe that is why Dennis hasn't called me back
someone prolly told him 'bout me
Love, Palo
To: palo verde
Wait until your wimmin's lib friends find out you are a libertarian!!Oh boy, then they will be certain your run with the coyotes ;-)LOL.Do you have the closet space and hangers for your clothes??Plus, Inmelda Verde, you will get a better view of your world famous pocketbook collection this way ;-)
To: grannie9
you be careful you don't get reeled in chickita
you're a cute gal with lota class
and Al is such an orgasm expert
To: palo verde; grannie9; habs4ever; y'all
Many years ago when I was a computer programmer I was making a program for the stock market. One to the problems was determining the settlement date a certain number of working days after a transaction. Of course that would be simple just enter a table of holidays each year and let someone update it every year or do it for the next fifteen years and I would be retired before it crashed if the system was still around after fifteen years.
But I decided to make a sub-program to calculate Easter which is the only movable feast day and we all know Good Friday is the two days before. The only problem, I didn't know how the date for Easter was determined. This was in the days before the Internet when information did not come so easily.
I tried two local priests who had no idea they just looked at the calendar; the only person I could find who knew was someone at the local Observatory. He told me that it was the "The first Sunday, on or after the first full moon, after the Vernal Equinox." I was reminded of this when I made the Captain's log this morning you will notice today is the day of the full moon. Only eight days after the Vernal Equinox. So Easter is fairly early this year.
The only problem I now had was to calculate the phases of the moon, but the Astronomical Full Moon and the Paschal Full Moon vary a little as Easter is the same day world wide - but the Astronomical Full Moon will vary by a day depending on where you live. Anyway it was done - who said programming wasn't fun.
If anyone is interested in the history of the Easter calculation Click HERE

Me has some work to do, so au revoir my pretties :-)I mean that figuratively Grannie, in your case, as we all know Palo is really Hedy L'Amour ;-)LOL
To: habs4ever
lol I thought about buying hangers
but my dresses are sundresses, they'd fall right off them
I will have to fold everything up and put it in a drawer
happily I bought a chest of drawers a few months ago
oh habs you are right
first my friends in womens' liberation thought I lost my mind
when I wrote them bout ETs and angels
they're all left wingers
if they knew bout my politics
they'd murder me
lucky I'm not in contact with them anymore
To: habs4ever
