Mother.......psssstttt--first thing......quit the yelling....you get a headache and it goes right through one ear thru the mush and out the other side!!!
Save a lot of headaches and hassles by getting right in their face, and keep your voice very low with a stern looking face holding them by both shoulders as you tell them whatever it is you want to say.....by being very quiet, and looking stern and determined, you will force them to take you serious--they will have to strain to listen to you.
Then if they don't, you whomp their little butt and repeat the process.....be very cool about it--don't drive yourself nuts....that's what kids think they were born for!!!!

"My hotmail account is full of porn, at least a dozen a day." That's why I quit using a hotmail account. I've had much less with yahoo. In fact, I never had any with yahoo until recently. So now I have all kinds of filters on my mail.

I learned that process much too late. I am a great gramma. But my kids got all the yelling!! Poor babies. They survived tho as did I.

Hey, Mo.....just gotta tell ya a short story.....true, and short.
On another forum I belong to, some guy printed a story from a UK paper about a transportation safety expert getting run over by a bus as she dashed across the street from a convention to have some photocopies made.
The article identified her as "a bright light in the group".
Of course, there were all sorts of comments about the article.....mind was short and sweet...."Sorry to say, but the expert was a dim bulb if she thought she was gonna win a footrace with a bus!"

Speaking of Yahoo e-mail, I just found this joke in mine:
A couple from Minneapolis decided to go to Florida for a long weekend to thaw out during one particularly icy winter. Because both had jobs, they had difficulty coordinating their travel schedules. It was decided that the husband would fly to Florida on a Thursday, and his wife would follow him the next day. Upon arriving as planned, the husband checked into the hotel. There he decided to open his laptop and send his wife an e-mail back in Minneapolis. However, he accidentally left off one letter in her address, and sent the e-mail without realizing his error.
In Houston, a widow had just returned from her husband's funeral. He was a minister of many years who had been 'called home to glory' following a heart attack. The widow checked her e-mail, expecting messages from relatives and friends. Upon reading the first message, she fainted and fell to the floor. The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read:
To: My Loving Wife
From: Your Departed Husband
Subject: I've Arrived!
I've just arrived and have been checked in.
I see that everything has been
prepared for your arrival tomorrow.
Looking forward to seeing you then!
Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was.
p.s. Sure is hot down here!

I get all the SPAM they ever invented!! GRRR I block and block the darn stuff. Bill (in Texas) showed me how to do a better job of blocking. You click on messages at the top, and then click "create rule - delete from server" then go back and click messages again and click block sender. It works better. My ISP guy told me tho that they have thousands of e-mail address combinations. The porn stuff I just get rid of. It's disgusting. Some of it you can see even before you get to delete it. YUUUUK Sick sick world. Especially the young teens. What a generation coming up huh?

"I think I need more than a smooch." Oh honey, I KNOW I need more than smooches. But I guess one learns to settle for whatever's available!

I haven't received any porn (or spam) on my Lycos account. I just wish the sites wouldn't allow it without our permission. Spamming is bad enough but reading the vulgar come ons makes me sick! To each his own but to not have a say so is uncalled for. I seldom go to Hotmail because of that.

Hi Jaidyn. My ISP man that I talk to all the time told me they are producing a new software that should be out later this year that will allow the Provider to filter a lot of that crap out at their end. Thank God. Some days we are over run with SPAM. And it takes a long time to do both those steps on 30 spams!!

I was a Keyes supporter too. You want my opinion .. I think Keyes himself would be shocked at the way some of his supporters are acting ..
Keys himself to me does not seem like a nasty bitter person .. like some of the people I've come across

I like Alan Keyes. He is one smart guy. I know why he wasn't very welcome in the debates. Boy can he talk. When he gets wound up, it would be tough to debate him. He is very knowledgable. The trouble Alan has is that the general public would never accept him because they would consider him too "righteous". I believe he is absolutely correct that the Country needs to come back to it's roots. But it isn't gonna happen.
