Sooooo, I gotta go find a large red flower in linen, silk, or maybe an organza Why not find a large red flower in 'Real'.
Flowers are flown in every day. You still have time to special order some big exotic beauty.

I'll be looking for it. Just don't forward any of that bestiality porn spam to me, OK? I think I may have gotten one of those a couple of days ago. the subject line was enough for me to hit the delete key pronto.

No, i was joking. Swervie didn't send me porn. He had mentioned receiving some spam from appeared to be a bestiality porn site, and I think I may have gotten the same or something similar yesterday. Something to do with loving animals on the subject line. Yikes. Delete!

hiya .38, good reason to hit "delete" instantly. I've been lucky, have been online for about 5 and half years and have never been hit with porn spam, yet a lot of people seem to have that problem, especially AOL users for awhile. I do get several e-mails a day with free cell phones offers though. grrrrr...
To: .38sw
I was joking, too, Cheri.....but am glad to see your comments on it....will have to pay more attention to what is incoming, though at present the addy is not all over the place.
And it was yesterday or the day before that I was asking why people would have several e-mail addies.

It's my hotmail account that gets all the spam. ugh. I can get 30 junkmail messages a day, and the subject lines on some of them are explicit and appalling. There is now a junkmail folder where these messages go, and I can delete them without even looking at the messages. I have a "safe" list of emailers that go right into my inbox. I only have been looking at the junkmail folder the past couple of days because I increased the filter level, and am checking to make sure that wanted emails don't go into the junkmail folder. I had gotten one from Letitring that was in the junkmail folder because i hadn't added her to my "safe" list.

I remember your asking. I have a couple of "throw-away" accounts. Yahoo offers free email, and the spam is minimal. Hotmail is the worst for spam.

My hotmail account is full of porn, at least a dozen a day. I do the same as you but some good mail gets in with the junk mail. I tried blocking the sender but it said my block box or whatever is full (250 emails max) so I can't block anymore. I tried entering the site so I could unsubscribe but once you are in it's hard to get out unless you just delete it, then you get another one the next day. I used to just forward them on to my congressman and told him to get rid of them. I wonder what he thought?

I don't "block sender" anymore. If you go to Options from your inbox page, you can set your junkmail filters. I have mine set at "Exclusive", which means that no mail from a sender not in my address book gets into my inbox, and is immediately dumped into the junkmail folder. Then, I can go into that folder and see if there is any mail I care about, or just empty the folder (from "manage folders" on the left side of the page) without looking at it. You can even opt to have messages deleted before they even hit the junkmail folder. I'm not doing that yet, until I make sure i have my address book updated. works pretty well this way.
Also, trying to "unsubscribe" often doesn't work, because some of these sites are using hacked sites IP addresse to send out stuff. And, if they aren't, and you try to unsubscribe, then they know they've hit a "good" address.

Interesting article.....definitely more studies needed....could just be a fluke.... or ?
I have a brother-in-law [do they still stay in-laws after a spouse dies?] who was in the Army...a medic--served 2 tours in Nam...near the very end of the second tour he stepped on those sharp sticks.....shortly before his 19th year, he started suffering weird symptoms....he was finally diagnosed as having multiple sclerosis....the Army kept him in long enough that he would qualify for 20 years and then let him go. The doctors, or I should say some of them, felt that it was the foot muscle injuries that caused the MS to activate itself.
Marvin had wanted to be a physicians aide in rural America....now he is virtually blind, has horrid headaches, is in a wheelchair.
This guy had the neatest hands for giving massages. I could be all tensed up from doing bookkeeping and he'd have me sit in the floor in front of his chair. In approximately 2 minutes, I'd be asleep as he kept kneading and kneading the knots out of the neck and shoulders....they all used to laugh at me and said I'd be a great one for hypnosis!!

That's really a shame about Marvin. Yes, they are still your in-laws after your spouse dies. I still have a mother-in-law and her twin sister. However, I moved far away from them - something I couldn't have done before.

Milton Berle just died today, too, at age 93.

Hi, ringy, Yummie gets all sorts of hugs. I wish you could see him run to get his Purina Tarter contorl treats. He loves em and that is the only thing he will come a runnin' for! It really is funny. That along with his steatlthy move to cover his leftovers with his toys so Missie can't get to it.. But now Missie wants to know ( she is sooooo vain) if you think she is beautiful? she said to tell you she does not use Pantene shampoo! Her beauty just comes naturally LOL!
