Let's just say that we didn't always get squirrels (luckily no skunks) and that someone on the other side of the county line must have had the same idea.

So unless you're going to camp out 24/7Nah, I wouldn't bother... we don't use our backyard for much, so they're not much trouble. The only really annoying thing is listening to them land on the roof of the house (thump!) and then take off running. That is, at least since the landlord put a grate over the top of the chimney to keep them from coming down into our fireplace, they're not much trouble...

....sorry little nut-thieving, bird feeder-raiding varmints! Then there's the time I pushed one off a 3rd story balcony....

Nah, I wouldn't bother... we don't use our backyard for much, so they're not much trouble. The only really annoying thing is listening to them land on the roof of the house (thump!) and then take off running. That reminds me of the time when I was growing up that we kept hearing these incredibly loud thumps and thuds on our roof. Turns out the squirrels were up in our trees chewing the pine cones off the branches so that they would all bounce off our roof.

Look, I have hunted and killed things. I have a cat for the sole purpose of killing mice, and I ate meat today, much like every day.
But the intentional pain of any animal is never funny. And I think the pleasure you are getting from it is a bit twisted...
I am tired so I know my tolerance is low. But it would bother me on a good day too. I will butt out for a while... need to feed ponies soon and head to bed.
