You know, dwarf... if you aren't careful, Smeagol might just eat you for lunch. It will be a a change from fish and orc. From what I hear, dwarf tastes just like chicken.Well I don't know if they taste like chicken, but from what I understand they sure do act like.........oops, look at the time, gotta go! ;^)

while the Clintons were president, The grammarian in me wants to correct the verb agreement in that sentence, but the political me realizes that the grammar is indeed correct. LOL

Here's another place I use for HTML stuff--it's a very useful thread from the old FR forum.

If the "00" posts are precious, does that make the "50" posts...
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
semi-precious?

Too clever by half?

I think for the XX50 posts you don't get the Ring of Power, but you get the Ring of Just Above Average Power. When you put it on you turn green and purple and get an unyielding need to sing and dance with elementary school age children. The Ring of Just Above Average Power is much more to be feared than the Ring of Power, IMHO.

The Ring of Just Above Average Power Someone has jewelry envy.
But "The Ring of Just Above Average Power" would make a great name for a band...

When you put it on you turn green and purple and get an unyielding need to sing and dance with elementary school age children. Well, since I can't dance, and my singing voice is often painful to human ears (including my own) I think I'll have to pass on this one.
Green and purple would be ok though.

Hello hobbits and others! - Up to no good I see!
I actually have some news for the spoilers thread. You will have to go there to see it! - but only if you want to know the answer to the question: "Do elves surf?"
To: HairOfTheDog
Freeper Elves surf...

Well, since I can't dance, and my singing voice is often painful to human ears (including my own) I think I'll have to pass on this one.I know what you mean. When I sing my kids have two reactions: 1) that I sing solo, so low they can't hear me, or 2) that I sing near a window, so they can help me out. ;^)

Too clever by half?Argh, I'm no good at puns!
Actually, I've always wondered about those "lesser" rings of power that Gandalf mentioned... now that Kevin has filled me in on what some of them do, I think it's just as well they weren't included in the books.
