We've had a considerable amount of rain in the last month. But, I know the water table is still low.

Come to Cincinnati! It has rained for a month. The ground can't hold any more water.

In april it was too wet on the weekends for me to get in the garden. Now that I have seeds in the ground it won't rain!

I know upstate New York has also been desperately dry the last year or so. Does anyone know if they've gotten any of this spring rain that some of the middle Atlantic states have been getting?

I wonder if the 01 is really the precious, just like 2001, not 2000, was really the beginning of the millenium...

Yes. We also have a municipal government that soaks (if you'll pardon the expression) you on water rates.

Hi everyone. I'm back from school and ready to talk Tolkien. ;^)

My wife thinks that part of the attraction is she's so accustomed to being better than anybody else that the idea of Anakin, who is capable of overpowering her, is, ahem, part of his sex appeal. I'm not the one to judge how much sex appeal Anakin projects, however! This fits with what I said about the lust angle to their relationship though...

That's funny, my wife thought Amidala just wanted to be his mother. ;^)

I don't want to spoil it for anyone (that would be really hard to do) but I laughed my way through the "big fight."

Whew! I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I don't think the fight between Dooku and Yoda had quite the effect that Lucas was looking for since when Yoda pulled his light sabre out everyone in the theatre started laughing. ;^)

I think the best thing about AOTC was that we got to see it in all digital. That was pretty cool. I am praying that TTT comes out with a digitized version.

FOTR just came to our cheap theatre. Tickets are $3.99 and they have a restuarant where you can get food to eat while you are watching the movie. I may have to try it out.

Welcome Back!

Thanks! You just don't realize how long a week is until you try to live through one without FR and the HH.

All the sneaks are present.

Ahem! I just don't know what to say to such an outlandish remark! 17?...
