I have that too, but I figured I would use that later on, after the crowds are gone.

I have to go to the ticket office anyhow and exchange this for real tickets on movie night. I just wonder if it is better to do that now or Tuesday night.

I'd do it now then. I hate waiting in line and like to be able to go right in on Movie Day/Night.

I will still have to wait in the seating line, just not the ticket line! Heh.

Grrrrrr........is that a multiplex? I didn't have to wait in lines last year.

The fewer lines I have to deal with, the better.

Well, its a multiplex, but the line is for my movie, not all movies, so I imagine it is the same anywhere. The first week I would go early, I went an hour early last year, to get a nice center seat. Otherwise you will be stuck on the sides.

The shows start 30 minutes after the end of the previous showing and I didn't have to wait in line. I wasn't always able to get dead-center but I could get center-ish without being stuck in the front two rows. Of course the earlier you went the better seat you got.

BTW I always go to matinees....they're less crowded (not to mention cheaper.) :)

I like the matinees too, but they usually strandle the time that I would need to feed horses. It looks like the showtimes will be 12 4 and 8. I will not usually be able to go to the 12, and the 4 is right at feeding time.

Poor horses! You can't just put out a bowl of dry food for them, can you?

I need to go to the grocery store in a bit so I can get my balrog wings going before Key Largo comes on at noon.

Talk to you in a bit.

Sounds good!

My worry about them if I am too early or late feeding has more to do with the weather. If it is nasty out, I hate to make them stay outside past dark.... and I can't feed them and put them in stalls at 3:00, its just too early. Once they go in, they would be in for the night, and that is a long time to be cooped up in a stall. I usually put them in at 5 or 6 in winter.

That's funny, ecurbh, I also got the exactly same coat.

When we were there, the Australian dollar was greatly depreciated against ours, so it was like everything was at half price, made it so you could buy nice things cheaply. We got some aborigine art also.

Those canvas waterproof Drizabone coats are practically part of the Australian national identity. I think they make very good farm coats and also shooting coats, since the very large pockets hold lots of shotgun shells.

We liked Australia, and the people there alot, course, since my nephew was marrying an outback girl that he'd met, and bringing her home to the U.S., we got an Australian addition to the family.

That's cool that he wrote you an e-mail.

Are you, me and JenB the only ones that read his stuff on this thread, I wonder?

I suppose there's no word on when the next one is coming out, or how many there will be altogether, if he knows.

I agree that he is very strong on character development, my son and I have discussions on them, it's one of the fun things about his books, identifying with and talking about the various characters.

Good morning Sam! I am house cleaning today.

We may have 50 mph winds tonight. I hope I don't get hit by a tree. The ground is just saturated.

I need to do laundry too. If I don't get too whistle-preoccupied I'll go by the theater and run some other errands.

I read "Sand Kings" back about the time it was published.

I liked Australia a great deal too. Unfortunately, I was there with a touring music group, and was only there less than a week. We did not even get to do much sightseeing, and spent all of our time in Sydney. Did go to an opera at the Opera House, and taste kagaroo and crocodile though.

Someday I want to go back and see more, and visit New Zealand too!

I should be on your sleep schedule though! - I need to start getting myself in condition to stay up on Tuesday night. My body is ready for bed by 8:00 pm. Not Good!

We have a brand new movie theater in our little town of 5000. It is supposed to have one of two screens ready to open with TTT at 12:01 AM Wed. There is no way I could hope to stay awake for that occaion, but I surely will get to see it before the week is out.

Can't wait for all the reviews from you early birds so I'll know some of those special things to look for.
