The scenes are starting to come together now in my head.
The big "entrance" we see in the trailers where Aragorn comes through the big doors are not his first visit there, it had to be some other big entrance that I couldn't place, because of the way Theoden looks.
That scene is after they first come to Edoras and find Theoden decrepit and eject Wormtongue. It is later, before Helm's Deep, he is thought to be dead in some early battle with the Wargs, has Brego come back to him, and sees the scene above... Riding back to Edoras, he sees that. The "big entrance" coming through the doors must be then.
I say that, because in the scene where he comes to the door, Theoden is already back in form. I wondered about that scene until now, because we have seen the decrepit Theoden, and he is not so in that entrance. Make sense?

Yes, that does make sense. I thought they had just spliced two scenes together that didn't really go together, but now it's starting to come together for me too.

Good clip. I noticed that Gimli drops something at the 36 second mark. I don't know if we were supposed to see that or if it is just an unscripted error. I guess we'll find out in about 20 days.........
