The moral to that story is less clear...

Have you ever heard the last chorus to The Thunder Rolls?

Well, that ties in nicely with the third verse of Thunder Rolls.

The thunder rolls, and the lightning strikes
Another love grows cold
On a sleepless night
As the storm rolls on, out of control
Deep in her heart, the thunder rolls

She runs back down the hallway
To the bedroom door
She reaches for the pistol
Kept in the dresser drawer
Tells the lady in mirror
He won't do this again
Cause tonight will be the last time
She'll wonder where he's been

The thunder rolls, and the lightning strikes
Another love grows cold, darling
On a sleepless night
As the storm rolls on, out of control
Deep in her heart.....

Yes, I've heard it many times! Just because Garth isn't my favorite doesn't mean I change the station when they play him...

Really, it's just his rodeo songs that bug me much.

The moral to "You Win Again" was, the man was hopelessly in love with an unfaithful woman. It was autobiographical.

I've done both Fandango and Movietickets.com before. I think they both work the same way...you order the tickets online, then when you get to the box office, you present the credit/debit card you used to order the tickets online. Apparently, it holds all that info in the system and when they swipe your card, the tickets print out. I always went ahead and printed out my confirmation just in case, but I've never had to use it.

Hair, I answered your email, but I'll put this here too--Cinerama sells tickets through movietickets.com rather than fandango. I think it has to do with which theater chains use which service. However, tickets are not available for TTT at the Cinerama online as yet. I doubt that they are available from the box office yet either, though I could drop by there next week sometime and ask them. It makes me nervous that the tickets are supposedly "on sale" but that we can't seem to get any through the normal avenues yet. Yikes.

No info at the MSN community yet either.

I'm stuck on heartbreak songs!

Oh no... George Jones and John Conlee songs are starting to run through my head...

I never listen to country.... Garth is about all I know in that venue. Had a boyfriend that was into country... And he used to sing The Dance and the Thunder Rolls for me at Karaoke Bars. And Devil went down to Georgia.

Speaking of that boyfriend... I also like this song:

Garth Brooks
Unanswered Prayers

Just the other night a hometown football game
My wife nd I ran into my old high school flame
And as I introduced them the past came back to me
And I couldn't help but think of the way things used to be

She was the one that I'd wanted for all times
And each night I'd spend prayin' that God would make her mine
And if he'd only grant me this wish I wished back then
I'd never ask for anything again

Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when you're talkin' to the man upstairs
That just because he doesn't answer doesn't mean he don't care
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

She wasn't quite the angel that I remembered in my dreams
And I could tell that time had changed me
Inn her eyes too it seemed
We tried to talk about the old days
There wasn't much we could recall
I guess the Lord knows what he's doin' after all

And as she walked away and I looked at my wife
And then and there I thankedd the good Lord
For the gifts in my life

Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when you're talkin' to the man upstairs
That just because he may not answer doesn't mean he don't care
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

Some of God's greatest gifts are all too often unanswered...
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

Eli Renfro killed his wife with a long sharp Bowie knife...

You wouldn't happen to have the lyrics to "The Ghost of Eli Renfro", would you?

I grudgingly admit that is a good one!

If you get the chance, give this guy here a try, especially his song "Carry On". It's a good one, imho, and not traditional country. You may like it!

No I don't, sorry... couldn't find it on Google either. Although I did find the website of the songwriter.
