I'll have to see how Arwen plays in TTT... but, in FOTR, I thought her increased role did not detract from the story at all... With any luck we'll lose her on The Paths of the Dead. Or maybe Eowyn will kick her butt.

Both Arwen and Eowyn were strong women but they didn't 'take over' the books. Guess it's more PC to have them loom larger.I wonder if RotK will show the REAL Arwen...nagging Aragorn about not picking his socks up off the floor, complaining that he never takes her anywhere, and for pete sake, will you PLEASE fix the leaky toilet already!? lol

Besides, Eowyn could stomp Arwen any day of the week. lol
