don't hem yerself in lookin' only at IT stuff... you may have another calling...

I'll be looking at a lot of stuff, and maybe even outside the local area. I'm sure something will come up, but it may be a little while. Waiting is stressful, but at least I can get some stuff done around the house! (And play music "some whole bunch", as one of my younger siblings used to say!)

I thought about trying to convince him to wear one of his Mom's sequined tops (like she'd let him) as Mithril...but we won't go there.

THANK YOU!...I wouldn't want to see Jr. emotionally scarred for life...

And more time for NaNoWriMo!

Ha! Just in time, right? Though it may actually be HARDER, since I would have had time to think while at work, and then I could write at home.

Is anyone planning on staying up until midnight on the first in order to write at least one sentence right then?

No major editing, remember? It's quantity, not quality...

Dunno. If I do, I'll have to take a nap first. I made sure to check (after we switched back to standard time) that my time zone was correct.

Yep! I THINK I can do it. Just gotta write a load of stuff without analyzing it too much. Hm...good working title for my story...Load of Crap?

Sheesh! I need more coffee...I'd better start drinking now for NaNoWriMo...

I thought you were asking if I planned to stay up to get one sentence "right"....

Can I go back to sleep now?

Does it start at midnight PACIFIC, then? I didn't read it closely enough to remember.

I'm trying to decide whether I should write it long hand and then type it into the computer. The problem is that if I type it, I'll be tempted to edit at the same time.

Ah...now your response makes sense! Though looking back, I could have worded that sentence a bit better, I guess! I wondered, though...I wasn't talking about editing, I was talking about writing one or two lame sentences right as the contest started. ;-)

We're all going to be bragging all month, aren't we? "MY novel is worse than YOURS!" "No it isn't! MINE is REALLY lame and outlandish!" "No, MINE!"

Mine has gotten more outlandish as the time approaches. I now have bad and good guy organizations...with the four main characters kinda caught in the middle. And I'm thinking of making one of them into a Boromir type. Guess I'll wait and see how they develop.

Yeah, I've been thinking that, too. Typing is much faster, of course, but long hand is fun, and I wouldn't have the option of deleting whole pages in frustration. I'll probably go with the computer, but may do some writing when I'm away from it for awhile. I bought a few composition notebooks the other day to have on hand just in case.

Yeah, well I bet mine is more boring than yours is.

Words just seem to flow better on long hand. And if I write solely on computer, I may have to store everything in my e-mail account since I'd more than likely be writing on 3 different machines.
