1/4 Spaniard, 1/4 Cuban, 1/2 Puerto Rican = 100% All American!! :)
Shhhh! I was born in Chicago so I am a nasty Yankee!

She thought they were thoroughly irresponsible to fire on that fort and bring the Yankees down on her like a plague of locust. I'll go along with that.

You do have a point... And we do have a King Richard.

I am also a 200% threadkiller!! LOL!
Well, might as well set out lunch for when y'all get back.
Chicken n' Dumplins, BBQ Spare Ribs, Fried Shrimp and Ribeye Steaks. For side dishes I've prepared collard greens, corn on the cob, buttermilk biscuits and baked beans (beans will be rationed on the dwarves).
A couple of beer barrels are primed and ready to go. Plenty of cold extra sweet iced tea and root beer aavailable as well. ENJOY!!

I think that I have a "guilty Yankee" complex. That is why I try to learn all I can from my mother-in-law when it comes to cooking and southern living.
Along with traditional southern dishes, she's also taught a number of wonderful sayins' as well.
Want your name in the pot? = Are you going to eat?
You're livin high on the hog. = You are doing very well financially.
Jumpier than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. = You are very nervous.
Sh*ttin in tall cotton. = Doing extraordinarily well for yourself.
Louder than a bell clapper on a goose's a$$. = You talk too much.
Busier than a cat under a guava tree. = You are running around in circles.
That's just a few. :)

I think that I have a "guilty Yankee" complex. Never feel guilty for being a yankee. Guilt is for acting like one...
