Smeagol has three precious todays. Count them three!
To: carton253
Smeagol does a dance of victory.
To: carton253
I have counted them.
Got a whole crowd of vehicles surrounding an Aeroflot plane on the ground in NYC... MSNBC has no idea why. No wait... I guess the Russkies reported something about a passenger and radio traffic.

What's going on?

Are you impressed? Is that some sort of record? Should there be a monument to me in Middle-Earth?
To: carton253
Okay. We get the point. ;-)
Don't you hate it when that happens?
To: Paul Atreides
Do I hate what when what happens...

Should there be a monument to me in Middle-Earth?I think your monument is called, "Mount Doom"....

That reminds me, did you know that Hillary will have a cameo in LOTR?
As the Crack of Doom.

Will Old Crusty get a cameo as Orc Armor?

Well, since homeschooling is a bit of a topic today, I must tell you about Matthew's latest Math score. He takes small tests during the course of a lifepac but I don't put too much into the small test other than to make sure he corrects anything he misses (which is rare). But at the end of a lifepac he has a major test...covers the entire lifepac (there are 10 lifepacs per school year). He just finished his 4th lifepac test and made a 98% on it!!
He would have made 100% but for mis-adding some roman numerals. That was a bit of a blow, because he gets a sticker and the test is put on the fridge for a while if he gets 100%. 98% gets a "Good job" written on it, then it is filed away with his other completed tests. 98% is still pretty darn-tootin' good, though...imo.
He just read this and cracked up. He knows I'm telling "The Hobbits" how he did.

Is that the same hospital Corin Jr. went to for his finger? No, that one is out in the county. MCV is downtown Richmond.

Most like a spider she was, but huger than the great hunting beasts, and more terrible than they because of the evil purpose in her remorseless eyes. Those same eyes that he had thought daunted and defeated, there they were lit with a fell light again, clustering in her out-thrust head. Great horns she had, and behind her short stalk-like neck was her huge swollen body, a vast bloated bag, swaying and sagging between her legs; its great bulk was black, blotched with livid marks, but the belly underneath was pale and luminous and gave forth a stench. Her legs were bent, with great knobbed joints high above her back, and hairs that stuck out like steel spines, and at each leg's end there was a claw.Hm...is there some reference to Old Crusty in there? Why yes, I believe there is!
To: rightwingreligiousfanatic
I wouldn't be a bit surprised.

Fancy a trip to Minnesota? ;^) Brrrr....no way! Too cold for my thin Miami blood. I'd freeze in place just getting off the plane. :)
