I like cookies cooked a bit past "done", too...guess I'm strange, but perhaps not the only strange one. My wife and her siblings are like that. Their's comes from when they were growing up and their mom was always cooking for other people (they hosted a lot of missionaries, etc.). Their mom would save the "good" cookies for company, but give the kids the burnt ones.
Now that's what they all prefer...

I'm still going with my own idea...
I'm stubborn once my mind is made up. ;-)

I'm with you.... shortbread or corn bread.

"The horse-head hat is pretty, but I am not sure that anyone would recognize it as a LoTR hat!"
No, it looks more like the Breeder's Cup hats.
To: HairOfTheDog
You know, on the same website where I found that picture of the grilled cheese sandwiches, there was a mom who uses the sandwich maker to make cornbread (Jiffy brand).
Hmmmmm.....
To: HairOfTheDog
Shortbread is too crumbly (I don't think lembas is inherantly crumbly...just crumbles like any waybread would if crushed), and corn bread isn't crisp or brown.

Same here...GMTA!

The horse-head hat is pretty, but I am not sure that anyone would recognize it as a LoTR hat! But that's the beauty of it, Hair! Only "us geeks" would know!

Hullo g'nad! - Take care of yourself!
Stay off the road.... travel only by day... or night. Dang! .... it's hard to know which. It changes.

But that's the beauty of it, Hair! Only "us geeks" would know! Kindof like a secret handshake, then?

The coincidences are too numerous to discount completely...

Cornbread can be crisp if it is really thin and slightly overdone... That is how I picture it!

...travel only by day... or night. Dang! .... it's hard to know which. It changes. Maybe the media needs to say "he only shoots during daylight or nighttime hours..."

Cornbread can be crisp if it is really thin and slightly overdone... And we know with elves, everything is overdone...

They're about to hold a press conference.... Information? - Or short cryptic code-speak? What do you think?
To: HairOfTheDog
The sandwich maker cornbread was made by layering some batter on the tray, adding shredded cheese and then another layer of batter. Then cook for 5-8 minutes. Sounds yummy!
To: HairOfTheDog
They're about to hold a press conference.... Yeah, it was announced for 4:00 p.m. I don't know. Maybe they've got the ballistics tests from this a.m. Or maybe it's just another "could you call us back..." message.
Schools are back on tomorrow in our area. But in lockdown. No outdoor activities. I'm not sure how they're handling the between buildings things.

Happening now...listening in...
To: Corin Stormhands
Of course not, dear. Elves are fruitcakes.Ba-Da-Bing! Hehheh, I just thought this bore repeating. ;^)

Received a communication, will be responding to...A great deal of speculation to threat. All citizens are at risk...willingness to shoot people of all ages, races, genders...recognize the concerns of the community...
Message in threat "Your children are not safe, anywhere, at any time" (quoting from note)
That's it. No questions.
