I've got a great marinade recipe I use on steaks and chicken. It's called Sutherin's Basting Sauce. As soon as I scare up the recipe, I'll freep mail it to you.Sounds good! I can try it and let you know if it ends up being "brother approved". ;-)

By the way, I forgot to thank you this afternoon for posting the snow-on-trees winter picture! It was beautiful! (Looked just like home!)You're welcome! I admit to wondering if I did another uh-oh, since no one commented on the picture...
Looks just like home for me, too. Gee...I wonder why?

But I see Eomer appears twice... I didn't mind, OT!

Good morning! Friday, yay! And I'm most likely only working half a day, since I have to go pick up my little sister at noon (Dad's working and the older two living at home are off at a retreat this weekend).
OT and 2J, I finished making an MP3 of that recording I did. It's not exactly error free - we're trying to put together tune sets (two or three tunes together), and this was a practice run of these three. Not to mention the mando player (me) gets mike fright and loses her place a lot... With that said, here ya go:
Boys of Trafagee / Road to Lisdoonvarna 1 / Road to Lisdoonvarna 2
You can also hear Fiona running around, and about halfway through the last tune, she knocks a plastic bucket onto the ground! It's a large file (over 4MB), so I'll probably take it down tomorrow morning.

It wasn't on purpose! No one wanted to talk back...:-(

Ok.....hope I can download it when I get home today. Connections haven't been all that great this week.

"I still cry at the end."
Yeah, that gets me too sometimes. The scene that always, without fail, get me misty is when the company is grieving Gandalf, after they leave the Mines.
Just something about little Pippin bawling his eyes out, and his best friend Merry trying to stifle his own tears, so he can comfort him, Legolas looking completly shattered, Gimli in a rage...is a very emotional scene, in my opinion.
*snif*...gets me every time.

Sorry I wasn't here in time to save you from the funkle. It's my fault, not yours. ;^)

"Oh....and Good Morning, sleepyheads! It's Friday!!!"
A bleary-eyed Seamus Hamfist stumbles into The Green Dragon, in search of a hot beverage and tasty bacon.
"Hullo all", he mutters as he attempts to shake the cobwebs from his sleep-addled head, "looking forward to another fine day here in The Hobbit Hole!"

No I haven't but I believe that there's no such thing as a squirrel-proof birdfeeder. If I got one of those things pretty soon there'd be an enterprising squirrel charging his fellow squirrels a pecan to ride the merry-go-round. :)Besides, they're so much harder to ping with your .22 if they're spinning around like that. ;^)

Just downloaded it in 23 seconds...man, I love T-3's!
I'll give it a listen-to here in a short.
To: Overtaxed
Sounds good.
I can leave it up for a few more days, I guess, in case you have trouble with connection speed...I'm just worried because I'm right at my 5MB limit. But I guess if I'm entitled to it, I should use it, right? ;-)

Yeah....where's the bacon???That question should be directed at Corin. I believe bits and pieces of your answer can be found in his beard....

Not to mention Aragorn's red-eyed stare of disbelief...
I think I've paused, rewound, and played that scene several times. Each time I watch the movie, I have to view that scene at least twice.
To: RosieCotton
Oh, guess I should give credits, right?
Rosie - mando
"Cider" Jim - fiddle
Bilbo Bagpipes - tin whistle
