Where's Josh's puke bucket? Unlike a certain stinky dwarf we all know, 2J would have the decency to move that out of the picture...
To: Corin Stormhands; ksen
Unfortunately, it is in the picture. It's the tupperware container sitting on the upsidedown pink clothes basket at the bottom of the picture.
But we call it an emesis basin.
;-)

We always called it a puke bowl. Rather crude, I guess. Sounds like ksen's family uses a similar term...

Thanks for the input on Turtledove guys. I'm gonna try and stick this one out. I'll let you know how I end up liking the whole thing. ;^)

Whenever our kids get sick they get to be "King/Queen(depending on if it is the son(s) or daughter that is sick) for the Day."
That just means Mommy makes them a comfy spot on the couch with a table nearby and they get to pick what movies they'd like to watch.
BTW, 2JM I see the chess set in the pic, are the boys still using it? Mine play with it some, but when they are done they line the pieces up and have a war with them. ;^)
Also, is that one of the boys' school desk on the left-hand side? We have one of those for our Joshua(he's in third grade).

Naw...not crude. But we call it an emesis basin at work and I can't break the habit!
My kids have a wide variety of medical terminology in their vocabulary!
To: RosieCotton
I think my mother just provided a big bowl without really naming it. We didn't need instructions!
We didn't use that bowl for anything else, either. We just didn't talk about it!

Unlike a certain stinky dwarf we all know, 2J would have the decency to move that out of the picture... Don't make me post from vomit.com...
2JM, prayers going out for the little guy...

That just means Mommy makes them a comfy spot on the couch with a table nearby and they get to pick what movies they'd like to watch. When Corin Jr. was five he had his tonsils out and tubes put in on the same day. So my wife set him up on the couch with a bell to ring when he "needed something."
Problem was, it was two weeks before Christmas. So at every commercial...ring, ring, ring...

Hey thanks for dispatching the troll on the other thread.
If he tries to be a smart@$$ after that, then we'll know there's no hope for him.

My kids have a wide variety of medical terminology in their vocabulary! We certain had some - my Dad is a respiratory therapist. But mothers probably have a greater impact on their children's vocabulary...hence, "puke bowl". ;-)

Sorry to hear Josh isn't feeling well, and hoping he gets better real soon!
It was a "puke bucket" in our house when I was little, too. Or just "The Bucket".

Hey thanks for dispatching the troll on the other thread. Awww....I was just starting to have fun!

Awww....I was just starting to have fun! Yeah, but that guy's a jerk.
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
It was "barf bowl" at our house.
To: Overtaxed
