How is your weather? It was in the 90s today...we may get rain tomorrow.
I like my rambunctious mood as I'm still mad at my sister and brother. Now my wife and my Mom are suggesting that we could still go to the reunion. If we don't I'll be the only cousin not there...

I agree.... I like the General Interest versus News forums... It keeps people from judging us as not being news. Here, we don't have to be!
I wish people used it more, and didn't treat it like such an insult to have their stuff get moved here... It is not like a different site!
I think it is true that the news side should generally reflect current political events. Other news that is not political should be here. The Religion forum I don't go to, and I don't understand the need for the others, they seem like news to me, but they don't hurt me any, I browse back and forth regularly between GI and News.

Still, it wouldn't hurt to make sure everyone knows about the yahoo group...Maybe make another announcement to contact one of us "moderators" to join up if they haven't already. Can you ping your lists?
I still think posting that it exists and then doing the actual joining up by Freepmail is the way to go. It's worked great.

I usually switch between GI and News. Keep up with the election news and other news. I don't go to the religion side (well, that one time when ksen made a prayer request) or to the Smokey Backroom (Oi'm a Laydee, Oi am!). I've never been in a flame war. Well....except for the elves, that is. :)

You know, we'd be getting there no earlier than 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and would have to turn around and leave at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday. It's a four-hour trip.

All you have to do is tell him how to sign up...Hair has that info. I think I've signed up and aproved a whopping 3 people since I started the egroup. I started it and then immediately signed the first few people who logged in as moderators to help me with the traffic! Hair...tell her how to tell people how to sign up. I don't remember.
