But you have to remember. He hasn't really had them on as long as we've been waiting to see them... Maybe not, but just exactly how long did they chase the orcs?

Y'all do know what the "vapors" are...don't you?Oh yeah. Dwarves know all about vapors (or vapours in British), don't we? Gondor knows vapors too, even though it needs no vapors....nevertheless....
To: HairOfTheDog
Ooo...is that Sam reaching to take the ring from the "dead" Frodo? Or is that somewhere else?

Dwarves know all about vapors (or vapours in British), don't we? Ahem, to put it politely, many believe the "real" meaning of women having the vapors is that women needed to leave the room because they had gas.

Us Gondorians are proud of our vapors.

We just don't know Corin! [stomps foot!] This is all so exciting!
In the moving version, Frodo is conscous but weak... As I see it... so I just don't know! I shall let you know in 78 long days!
To: Corin Stormhands
Oh... when I read or hear about vapors, it has do with the thing that brings on the fainting spells.

I shall let you know in 78 long days! We're three hours ahead of you. Maybe we'll know first!
Reckon I can find a theater with an Internet connection?

I guess I could always trade Corin Jrs Playstation in on a laptop...

I must say, Legolas still looks fabulous as ever in the second film!

And here is Eomer....

I think...and this is pure speculation, but I think Frodo falls down in the Dead Marshes (which he does in the book) and Sam gets him and hauls him out and this is what he's doing afterward.
OR
Sam is watching Frodo sleep in Ithilien (note the green in the background?) and is worried about him....maybe fixin' to get the coneys? Maybe Smeagol walks up behind and finds them like this?
Frodo after a few mouthfuls of lembas settled deep into the brown fern and went to sleep. Sam looked at him. The early daylight was only just creeping down into the shadows under the trees, but he saw his master's face very clearly, and his hands, too, lying at rest on the ground beside him. He was reminded suddenly of Frodo as he had lain, asleep in the house of Elrond, after his deadly wound. Then as he had kept watch Sam had noticed that at times a light seemed to be shining faintly within; but now the light was even clearer and stronger. Frodo's face was peaceful, the marks of fear and care had left it; but it looked old, old and beautiful, as if the chiselling of the shaping years was now revealed in many fine lines that had before been hidden, though the identity of the face was not changed. Not that Sam Gamgee put it that way to himself. He shook his head, as if finding words useless, and murmured: `I love him. He's like that, and sometimes it shines through, somehow. But I love him, whether or no.' Gollum returned quietly and peered over Sam's shoulder. Looking at Frodo, he shut his eyes and crawled away without a sound.
