I actually wrote a long post to that Amy Grant thread. I couldn't get quite "right" so I canned it.
Christians slamming Amy Grant for a divorce just has such a foul taste to it when there are so many real villians out there.

I have a friend (the same friend Jen) who won't listen to Amy Grant because she "went secular". Like singing regular pop songs about life and love along with her Christian songs is equivalent to leaving God for the devil. This friend, who used to sing in a rock band herself, was looking for female Christian singers to find music she could sing to, and I tried to give her some of my Amy Grant tapes. She refused them because Amy Grant is now on some kind of Christian "shun" list.

I guess I just leave Amy Grants soul up to her and God. I don't have to buy the whole life of an entertainer, only a song. If I like the song, I buy the song. I don't know what my point really is... it just seems so silly.

OK, I'll try....their site is so slow, though, at least for me.

I would recommend deleting all of your more personal photos in that album.... move them to another place before it goes up on TORN.

I don't suppose this warrants it's own thread?

I'm too bashful to do it myself...

Wow. That car chase ended not far from here. What a horrible time for that poor woman, and her children.

The bastard sword, is said to be so named because it falls in size between the broadsword and the two-hand sword (i.e. it doesn't have a family of its own). In combat this sword could be wielded single-handed but the grip was long enough to get a partial grip on it with the other hand. For this reason they are also known as hand-and-a-half swords. However, it must be pointed out that there is some confusion over the exact classification of this sword because there are those who think that the bastard sword and the hand-and-a-half sword were in fact two distinct types. Further confusion is added by the fact that some authorities believe that the bastard sword was really the so called war-sword/sword of war.
