By the Way...
I have started an album to keep some of the good Eagle Cam shots in, that you can check in on from time to time if you are interested... I am adding new ones as I see good poses to capture.

Here is the link to the live Eagle Cam again
Here is one of the shots... though I suspect it will not last long, because Webshots is that way... One is just settling in on the nest, and the mate is on a nearby branch.

Like the eagle link. Awww...the bats are not at home. Holy BatCam, Batman!
Maybe I should set up the hummingbird cam.

I haven't checked out the Bat Cam yet, or the Salmon Cam for that matter.
Your hummingbird cam would have to have to be fast to catch them!.. I put my hummingbird feeder out, just this week. It is right outside my window here at my desk. I already have some regulars that have found it.

hehehe - It is amusing... I would see it... Though I will not get the Potter jokes unless I see that first.

I can aim it at my hummingbird feede. Or maybe I should set up the cat cam. You can watch my kitty sleep all day.

You should smell my house!! Oh my goodness, it smells fabulous! I'm surprised the smell wasn't what brought Faramir to Frodo!
Everyone is going around saying "When's it going to be ready?"

I'm smelling fennel seed right now. :)

Couch potato cat cam sounds like a winning enterprise...
I could do one of those myself!

Your kitty looks a bit more "in shape" than mine. Mine has become a spectacle. But my suggestions to work out a little only elicit blank stares back from him. It's like the idea just seems preposterous.

LOL!
What a pretty kitty! Maybe we should start our own pet image gallery.
(Aren't black cats hard to photograph, though?)
To: Overtaxed
No, Mr. B is photogenic.

Must be me then. I have a hard time getting her cute little kitty face to come out right. All I usually get are her eyes in a cat-head silhouette.

Like taking pictures of my black labrador. In low light, I get a black blob (his eyes are dark too so I don't even get them to show up) in sunlight I get black with white glaring highlights where his coat shines.
A professional dog photographer at a dog show once told me that when he does portraits of black dogs he dusts them very lightly with baby powder to cut the glare so you can see their features, even in the sun or bright light.

Your post reminded me so much of The B Man, I was inspired to do so myself. Good photos!

Well, I did the "herbs and stewed rabbit" tonight and here's a report.
Was it good. Yes. Was it fantastic? No. But I tell you, if it had been a while since my last hot meal, it would have very likely tasted fabulous! It was just a little plain. Sam himself describes it perfectly:
". . .nothing's wrong. Though it ain't quite what I call right: no stock, no onions, no taters."
We had the stew with french bread and butter. That's it.
Ecurb...how long had it been between the time Frodo left the Fellowship and when he met up with Faramir?
To: 2Jedismom
hehehehe - thanks for the coney report. I am about to jump in the tub, relax a little after this hard day at the keyboard. Be back in a bit.
