With or without the Irish part? ;-)
the only person sneakin' was OT...only person snaggin' was g'nad....heh heh heh...
LOL...I'm working...sort of...
Otherwise I might not mind the "Irish" part...
Grrrrrr.....isn't there something going on at the Pentagon today?
I wish I had gone to grad school right from college. My problem was/is that I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up. Now, in my 40s, I know the degrees I want, but I have neither the time nor the money.
I am able to work part-time on the seminary degree I want, but that's going to take 3-4 years. And, ultimately, that's for personal enrichment more than for work (although I think it will help in the writing). The other program, that would take me back to the career path I was on about 8 years ago, is simply cost prohibitive ($400 per credit hour is a bit steep). I could get loans and go full time, even now. But that's even less wise when you're in your 40s than when you're in your 20s.
So, I would say if you can get the degree(s) you want and not end up over your head in debt, go for it.
nope... but I will be gone all next week till Friday...then the next two weeks after that...Septemember's a wash for me...
Speaking of washing, you should try it sometime...
and wash off my waterproofing layer of oil and dirt? No way! deer season's right around the corner...shouldn't you be drinkin' some water?...
Gotta run. Back this afternoon.
Corin's bush-league compared to the hell we jarheads give each other...but this is a family forum...
I can't tell you how strongly I agree with this. As a parent with a daughter (exactly) Jen's age, I just can't even begin to imagine anyone discouraging JenB from going ahead with her degree.
She can't count on having the opportunity later.
There just isn't going to be much downside to it and the upside can't even be calculated.
However, I think Jen has already decided to go for it, she was more asking for suggestions on which institutions to attend than whether to attend or not.
Though we all may need an institution soon...
Some sooner than others. ;^)
LOL! The E-BAY joke was really bad!
As soon as I have had more coffee, I will add the keywords, per my edict.
