Never heard of it before. But there it is, on the trusty Minnesota map in my office, about 20 or so miles NE of Detroit Lakes...Where is Flom, I don't know where Detroit Lakes is. I have an idea, how about Entmoot in Flom or Ely in December? Lots of things to do there, snowshoe hiking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, iceboat sailing, and especially sitting in lodges in front of comfy fires.

He alludes, yes. In Hobbiton, he says that he found Gollum, but that the enemy found him first. In Moria at the "talk" scene, Gandalf and Frodo speak as if Gollum had either escaped or been set loose from Barad-Dur... This, actually, is kind of a logical flaw in the movie: Gandalf knows what words the enemy got out of Gollum in torture, but how?? He never mentions having spoken to Gollum, and in Moria, Gandalf and Frodo speak as if Gollum had been at Barad-Dur all this time. So how did Gandalf know?

When my Grandmother when into labor birthing my mother in February in Flom, they had to go by sleigh to the nearest neighbor that had a car, several miles away.

Think I heard the beep, but I was a bit far for the wave. Did you take the Interstates all the way, or did you take the shortcut through Chiefland and Perry? It cuts out close to an hour. You keep hearing that Florida has no empty areas anymore, then you take that nearly 400 mile trip, mostly without any built up places.When I go I take I-95 to SR-528 to the Florida Turnpike (SR-471?) to I-75 to I-10. It is 530 miles from Palm Bay to Pensacola. It took me 7 hours and 20 minutes. I think that was because I set the cruise at 75mph and just go, and I only stopped once for gas and a potty break.

We might as well schedule a side trip across Caradhras Minnesota is FLAT. That is why I didn't mention downhill skiing. I also forgot ice-skating!

Actually, I'm not much of a shopper, except when it comes to books and CDs, and I doubt that mall has many used book stores...
