Good morning! Everyone have a good evening?
I went over to Staples and finally got the cable I've needed for my printer/scanner/copier/thing since April, so I can get that hooked up tonight. AND I found out that I'm allowed a homepage of up to 5MB on my ISP, so hopefully I can get something up in the next few days, including some pictures.
Also I was feeling pretty down, so I bought a cool pen...when other people are depressed, they have a few beers or watch sad movies or go out and dance or whatever - I buy pens! Could be worse, I suppose.
I messed around with the whistle some more last night. Man, am I ever BAD!

Hey! I hope you are feeling better today...I am, thanks...I just have some times when I REALLY miss Mom and want to talk to her soooo badly, but can't.
What kind of pen did you get?
One of these:
It's a space pen...supposedly writes in about any kind of situation: freezing cold, extreme heat, underwater, etc...without smearing or dripping. I mostly just wanted it because it's purty, though, and is really small (about half this size) when you take the cap off the end (where it is in the picture) and put it on.

Keep at it with the whistle...if I can pick it up, anyone can!I'll keep at it, though I admit it's not my primary focus (I wuv my fiddle). Still, you can't beat something that cheap and portable...we used to take recorders when we went hiking, but tin whistles are even better!
