Well the stills looked nice.

That music starts playing...then it says "This Christmas" and I get goosebumps all over and my hair stands on end. I never noticed Merry and Pippen breathing hard (you can tell they are exhausted and frightened) until this version.
It's awesome! I'll try not to get my heart out of synch!

Yeah - try again tonight... I can't think what other differences in system would make a difference. Maybe ecurbh or Penny knows.
Guys... 2J and I were able to download that 34 MB version of the trailer and it plays fine. g'nad and OT get just choppy stills. Do you know what the problem is?
To: Overtaxed
I have to say that I have only been the beach 2 times in my life. Both when I was a kid. Fond memories.

I like the "stills"...but I gotta figure out why it ain't playin' right...it's killin' me...sneakin

Morning folks! I can still see the Nebula also. I am going to have to leave for a couple of hours starting in 45 minutes, and I would like to be around to witness our last quadruple 0 post on this thread, so lets get talking.
The water off the east coast of Florida is hotter in September than it is in August, and about as warm in October as it is in June.

I think that preview has a lot more "impact" than the later finished trailer, don't you? - It flows better, and the music is great. I think they had a lapse of inspiration and just missed it in the official trailer. What do you think?
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla
Good Morning! - Hullo! in the name of "keeping talking".
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla
I've never been to the coasts of Florida. The only times I went to the beach was in Massachusetts, and California.

I have to say that I have only been the beach 2 times in my life A true Elf, eh? :) Sometimes I'd like to say to Legolas "you're how old and you've never seen a beach?"

I'm sure I got the Divx 2.0...didn't see the 5.0...I'll try to download the 5.0 version...but I can't see that bein' the problem with the Windows media player...sneakin

I got a meeting in 15 minutes....sneakin

By the way, Penny is fine... we did a simulchat in the Yahoo hole for that Elijah Wood movie that was on TV the other night. She is busy and has other excuses, but she said she does lurk on occasion here still.
Penny did you end up watching that Peter Jackson film that came after? - It was actually quite funny rather than scary.

I was thinking about writing something profound about the way everyone who touched the Ring was destroyed, including Frodo, who did not live the life he would have wanted to, except for Sam, who had no real ambition, and was motivated by a pure love, but I realized that if I did that I would miss the Precious.
To: HairOfTheDog
Oh yes! Definitely! I won't even watch it because of that terrible rubbed out look Merry has on his forehead. Probably nobody else is bothered by it, but it really jumps out at me.
Plus, I nearly had a breakdown when that preview came on. I literally yelled outloud when I saw Treebeard blink the first time. Even to this minute I remember the feeling!
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla
What the hey....write it anyway! :)
