I am watching a discovery channel movie about T-Rex with the annoying was T-Rex a predator or a scavenger debate.
That is a lovely scene 2JM, you certainly are a good mother to your kids.

Hullo all...got a major cluster**** here I'm wrestlin' with...will be back when I can...hope you all had a great weekend...I know I was cool until I stepped into a meatgrinder here...
To: g'nad
Great. All my elf-bashing buddies are gone! :(
To: HairOfTheDog
If you ask me, there are few weirdos willing to fake an interest in LoTR for three years, just for the chance to kidnap any one of us.Ha! Good point!
Good morning hobbits, dwarves, and other assorted creatures! Everyone have a good weekend?
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla
Thanks! Yesterday on the way home from AOTC, Matthew told me when he grew up he was going to marry someone funny like me! I had been putting on a very melodramatic rant about the slow-poke guy that worked in the consessions at the theater...comparing him with a stump. Matthew was laughing hysterically.
It was a very high compliment!

Yesterday on the way home from AOTC, Matthew told me when he grew up he was going to marry someone funny like me!Cute...and it's great that he loves you so much! Thanks for sharing the pictures of your weekend. I take it you have a digital camera? If so, what kind is it? One of my brothers wants to get about three of us together to split the cost of one, which would be cool, but also might result in arguing...so Im not sure we'll actually do that.
It's a good thing Matthew says he wants to marry someone "like" you...I can remember (if only vaguely) getting into a rather long drawn-out argument with my mother when I was about four because I told her I wanted to marry Dad when I grew up, and she had a hard time convincing me that wouldn't work! Something a lot of kids go through, I guess, but kinda funny looking back.

Oh, and another thing...here's a good way to get all your antioxidants:

Coffee AND chocolate. Good stuff. Downside (maybe) is that it seems to be very high in caffeine...I definitely feel it.

Good morning everyone! I went to bed really early last night, as it appeared no one was here! I didn't see your post till just now, Hair!
Rosie, did you find your old Feadóg?
To: RosieCotton
I have a definite need of both anti-oxidants and caffeine this morning!
To: RosieCotton
Now that's my kind of pint! ;-)

My camera is an Olympus. My mom gave it to me when she upgraded to a better one...
I had it set on standard quality. I can set it on high-quality and the pictures will turn out very crisp and clear.
Once, I was trying to explain to Corin (on another thread) a hook lock for his door that would keep his youngest from unlocking the door. I went out and took a picture of it and posted it in the thread! I love my digital camera.

Rosie, did you find your old Feadóg?Oops! I didn't really get around to serious searching...trouble is that I moved into my house last winter and I STILL have stuff in the basement in boxes. I think I know what box it would be in, but I haven't gotten down there yet. Shame on me...
I did learn a new song on the fiddle, though!

My camera is an Olympus. My mom gave it to me when she upgraded to a better one... Is it fairly easy to use? Point and shoot sort of dealie?
You know, I hadn't even thought of it, but I wonder if I should look at used ones on eBay or wherever. I don't need latest and greatest, but it would be nice to have one.
To: RosieCotton
It's very easy to use. I just open up the shutter on the front and that turns it on. Then I turn on the "LCD" display which is like a little video camera, and I can point and shoot at what I want to photograph without having it right on my face. I hold it out from my face and look at the LCD display.
Does that make sense?
To: 2Jedismom
Yes, makes sense. The reason I asked is that my company has one that is pretty complicated. You can do a lot with it, but I'd rather have something I can't easily mess up!
To: RosieCotton
It has four buttons on the top. You push one and it switches between qualities (standard=122 pictures, high= 36 pictures). There's another button that switches between flash (default), no-flash, or no-redeye. There's a timer button and the main "picture-taking button" and that's it.
To: 2Jedismom
OK, sounds like something I could handle...similar to my regular camera. The one our company has is more of a professional grade thing, I think...lots of different modes and filter type functions.
To: RosieCotton
Oh and the button that turns on the LCD? That's on the back of the camera, beside the LCD display. It just has an on/off button and +/- buttons that allows you to scroll through the pictures you have already taken. I don't use that much. I just download all the pictures and then decided which ones I want to keep or delete. If I were using the high quality setting and needed the space, I could delete unwanted or flubbed pictures right from the camera. I'd have to think about it though, because I do it so rarely. That's why I carry my instruction book with me in the camera bag!

Well, Hair should be stumbling in here pretty soon. Tell her I said hello! The boys and I are off to the library to return some items.
I love the library. They are building a huge one just down the road from us. It's going to have a coffee bar and everything! One of the things I'm looking forward to after the boys have moved off is just sitting in the library and reading and drinking coffee!

Good morning everyone...
Sounds like most everyone had a good weekend, which is super. Feeling lousy here, but it'll pass I'm sure.
Hope everyone has a better Monday than I am!
