I agree with 2JM about beiong concerned about meeting people over the internetOn the other hand, that's how Rose and I met. Well, pre-Internet really, but the concept was pretty much the same... and we've been together going on 13 years.

I don't know what the CEGB story is...but did the people involved carry razor sharp swords?
To: 2Jedismom
Nope, it is a nasty story of a disturbed banned freeper, and I have a freepmail I wrote about it I can send to you. Discussing it here might get the thread pulled.

No thanks! I don't want it!
To: HairOfTheDog
I see pictures on your profile page!
To: 2Jedismom
Cool! - Everyone click my profile page and see if they stay! Tell me if they fail!
To: HairOfTheDog
Mine have been on my profile page for over a week, now. I think they stay.

No thanks! I don't want it!Good judgement on your part, IMHO!
Your pictures are coming in great, Hair!

Central Florida, not sure where, though.

Now can you help me? You mentioned a thingy on your computer the other day that alerts you when you have an appointment (like the dentist). Is this a program? Is it freeware? Where can I get something like this?
I missed a very important meeting last night. I'm so forgetful!

I use Outlook for my whole life... Calendar and address book... If I put an appt in my calendar, it chirps reminders at me however far ahead I need, from 2 days, to 15 minutes.
To: HairOfTheDog
Outlook Express? The email client?

Central Florida, not sure where, though. There are at least 5 places that look like that within 10 miles of here, probably 50 within 30 miles. Looking at the properties of that graphic it calls the bird a stork. It looks a lot more like a great blue heron to me, we have a couple of them by our community center lake 1 mile from here.
To: 2Jedismom
If you don't want to use Outlook, I am sure there are other Calendar programs out there you could download, I just don't have any experience with them....
To: 2Jedismom
Outlook Express is a mini version of Outlook. I use Outlook. Does Express have a calendar?

Bilbo... with pom-poms?
What would JRRT think? ;)

Don't you think he's cute? - I made him for one of the FReepathons:

Hobbits love FRee Republic!
To: HairOfTheDog
Not that I can see...regular Outlook must be the deluxe version.
I'm checking cnet for some sort of freeware.
