OK if that is what everyone else ends up wanting to do... but it makes me cringe thinking about it! - I would be afraid of not even finding my way out of JFK. Hair will go to NYC, though she does not know the way...you shall have my axe!

NYC sounds dreary, even at Christmas. I do not like concrete. There won't be anything to see at ground zero. The cleanup will be all but a memory, and I doubt anything new that is built will be done. Bah humbug!

cellos are so cool! I play the cello. Unfortunately my cello is still at my parents house. I don't have a way to get it to where I live.

DC is an exception as a place to visit because of all the stuff there.
Other than that, I would just-as-soon we all met at some podunk town with one theater, no lines and one hotel than a big city (I know, I know)
