I am the one in the black sweatshirt and the yellow pants. It is too bad you can't see the boots. I was wearing these thigh-high black leather boots with spike heels. It was my boots that got us back stage! I may have taken them off by the time these were taken... My feet hurt like heck.

We had this great dinner that was laid out backstage, the big rock station in the area sponsored it, so the radio people took the picture and mailed it to us later. Lots of food and beer were had, and then we went home. Not as sinful as you might think, though we were under age.

Copy & paste the addresses into your browser address bar. They worked that way for me.

Shweet! Those are awesome pics! You were a naughty little vixen, eh? Dave Holland looks rather bored though...

Never been backstage, but I did pass out during Iowa Jams back in '82...

hehehe - yeah - He does look kinda bored. We didn't even know who he was. I thought he was from the radio station. Then we were showing the pics to some of the guys in our group and they said... That's the drummer you dingbats!

Never been backstage...

Me neither. But my cousin was a roadie for Styx for a while. When they played Virginia Beach, my aunt had them over after the concert (I was in school in Kentucky). My aunt said, "they were the nicest boys..."

I do, however, have pictures with Lee Greenwood, Tanya Tucker and Minnie Pearl...(and a few assorted political has beens)

HEY! - The Farrah hairdo was the "in" thing then!

Yeah - they gave us albums that we had autographed....

Special explanation for Jen: We used to listen to music on record albums made of vinyl, and they played on one of these:

There is a pic at my Dad's of me, my brother, Dad, and Colin Powell. Much as he is maligned around here, I like and respect Colin Powell alot. He has a quiet calm confidence about him that is even more apparent in person.

Sorry I've been out for awhile. Well, I have to confess. After saying that we would wait till November to buy the DVD, we ended up buying it last Saturday. We went to Curcuit (sp?) City to get something, saw the display and found out they were selling it for only $15. We couldn't resist and now have the first DVD and will still buy the extended in November. I have enjoyed watching bits and pieces of it so far. Haven't had enough time to sit and watch the whole thing. I guess I have truely become more of an obsessed fan than I originally thought. :)

I remember it well. I had shoulder length hair (in the original color even) that was parted in the middle.

And I was much taller in high school...

I'll see your Colin Powell and raise you a Newt Gingrich and Dan Quayle...

I blew my chance at having my picture with George H.W. Bush. It was during the 1992 campaign and he came to a meeting I was in charge of. His campaign staff really p****d me off, so I told 'em "your attitude is why you'll be unemployed in December."

Of course, I was right, but I still wish I had the picture...
