Hi all! We're back. It was great as usual and the place was unbelievably packed! People actually still cheer when Lurtz gets dispatched. Joshua fell asleep in my arms just as they were leaving Lothlorien. (The carseat in the chair worked great, kept it from folding up on him...but I found out later that the cinema has it's own!)
I do agree with CS Lewis...I always liked that guy!

I always suspected you had a character flaw... just couldn't quite put my finger on what it was!

How fun! - So the movie is just about an hour too long for Joshua... hehehe
I wonder if it is still showing up at that funky Blue Mouse theater in Tacoma... hmmmm.

OHHH! I made an observation during the departure of Boromir scene. First, he comes over the hill and slams that orc. Then it shows him saying "Run!" to M and P who have their swords drawn and they take off running with him behind them blowing his horn. Then Boromir takes the first of the three arrows. Then it shows them throwing rocks. Then after the third arrow, they pick up their swords again. So it is entirely possible that between the time that Boromir arrives at their aid and the time that he tells them to run and starts blowing his horn, that is when Merry hacks off a few arms and hands! I hope it's in the extended release...but it seems like it would have been mentioned if it was.

I am having a hard time coming up with a lot more to say about this chapter... but my mood kinda ebbs and flows.
I think I will read the chapter again in the morning and see what happens... Maybe some good stuff will keep coming from everyone else!
