I would not be bored... I am a light drinker anymore. Would take me two days to recover from a bender I could walk away from in college. And I wouldn't want anything to get in the way of the movie after traveling all that way to see your faces during the good parts!

I don't get bad hangovers, and I'm not a sloppy drunk...people can't usually tell when I've been drinkin heavily...it's all genetics...
I can handle a dry Entmoot...uh, I gotta check somethin' in my truck, yeah that's it...Depending on where we're at, our place is an option too...course, with me makin' my own beer, there's always pints at g'nads Shiny Knob Tavern... speakin' of genetics, I'm gonna go and try to run off these luv handles...take care y'all!

My invite still stands as well, even if you just want to take a trip to Florida (45 minutes from Orlando, 30 minutes from Kennedy Space Center).

That ain't natural! Yeah, I know! It really put a crimp in my social life in high school and college.
Have to go "run" myself... run errands, anyway. :) Have a good afternoon all!

Being the logical person I am, I just couldn't see the point of drinking booze if it wasn't going to get me drunk. I don't drink to get drunk anymore either. I can't stay awake that long...
In addition to not being allowed to drink in college I was in my 20s before I could really come to grips with it. My dad was an alcoholic and for a long time I felt guilt. I had to come to terms with that.
I don't drink alone and I don't drink because I "need" a drink. I like beer with pizza and red wine with pasta. That's about all we'll ever have with home. If we're out at a social event (and it's open bar) I'll have a vodka/tonic or if we're having Mexican I'll have a margarita. And I can't even tell you the last time I did any of that...

I wonder if his hospice RN was a mom of 7 kids. Get thee behind me!!!!

But I was just thinking you all might be understandably bored! Are you kidding? You can entertain us on the whistle...we can go shopping at Aldis... and we can take bets on who or what will be the next thing to show up on your doorstep...

Wow - would be neat to take a field trip to the Space Center... can you schedule a Shuttle launch around the same time?
And Disney World would be wonderful...
But then... we have time...
hehehehe - My invite to come to Seattle still stands also... But it seems most folk are fearing a bit of rain.

ROFLOL! That was the funniest thing I've heard in a while! Matthew was saying "What's so funny???"
To: HairOfTheDog
My last name is Lurkz. :^) Don't post much but I have read every post on every LOTR thread since last Dec.
Going to be gone for the next 4 days. I may never catch up.
To: ksen
My invite still stands as well, even if you just want to take a trip to Florida The Stormhands family has decided to postpone our Disney trip until the summer of 2004. The little one will be 4 1/2 and Corin, Jr. will be (gulp) 15. It's been hard to figure out the best time to take them together...
To: DonnerT
You are right... you may never catch up. I hope you aren't tested on the material you missed ;~D

But it seems most folk are fearing a bit of rain. Rain? I've read about it, can you describe it? Does water really fall from the sky?
To: Corin Stormhands
It does fall from the sky, and we have names for the different kinds of it. All rain is not the same you know.
To: HairOfTheDog; g'nad
What's the anticipated date for release of ROTK? If it's mid-December again I may have to invite you here. That could be during our churches Christmas production run. We do 19 public performances...(g'nad, you should seriously think of driving down to Richmond this December)
To: HairOfTheDog
All rain is not the same you know. It sounds beautiful. I hope I can see it someday...
To: Corin Stormhands
I am sure the release will be mid December... Though the best time for everyone to schedule a trip may not be around Christmas, but rather in January.
To: All
Okay, I'm out of here for a while...it's Miller time!!! ;-)
To: HairOfTheDog
Though the best time for everyone to schedule a trip may not be around Christmas, but rather in January. Gasp...but you wouldn't expect us to WAIT?!? Would you?
To: Corin Stormhands
Well, I would travel for the premier and go to the midnight show dressed in an elven cloak, but I don't have a family to explain it to the week before Christmas!
